Today I visited the clinic after about 1.5 years without a dental check-up. Naturally, there was a lot of plaque buildup due to bacteria. The dental assistants (Shelby and others) did a wonderful job thoroughly cleaning and polishing my teeth. Dr. Stef carefully reviewed my X-rays and performed a detailed examination, providing a very clear and helpful analysis of my dental health. I’m scheduled for a follow-up appointment to treat one of my teeth and to place a crown. Overall, I’m very satisfied with the quality of care I received today - the team not only cleaned my teeth extremely well but also gave me valuable advice on how to better maintain my oral health and prevent future issues. Highly recommend!

Well for someone who is absolutely terrified and has trauma of dentists and needles, a visit to dentist for any procedure is a gruesome nightmare. Dr. Petrova understood it and worked with me and I would say my pain during the fillings were almost none. Certainly would recommend her to anyone looking for a long term dentist.

The experience went above and beyond my expectations. Downtown Dentist SF is conveniently located and has a lot of positive reviews, and the office is clean, bright, and advanced with facility and technology, which makes me less uneasy about my first visit.
My first appointment was due to a sharp toothache. Dr. Petrova quickly diagnosed the cause and solution. In the subsequent tooth extraction process, the doctor, dental hygienist, and assistant also helped relieve my tension by explaining the tooth extraction process and postoperative precautions thoroughly. Dr. Petrova is highly skilled, professional, friendly, and patient, as well as the other staff. I didn't feel any pain in the process of tooth extraction, and the postoperative recovery was very smooth. The doctor helped me with my follow-up appointment and gave me suggestions about my teeth care. I highly recommend Dr. Stefka Petrova and Downtown Dentist SF.

This was a truly excellent experience at the dentist. I used to be very anxious about going to the dentist, especially during visits at other offices. Dr. Petrova and her staff, however, are extremely caring and clearly thoughtful about everything they say. I really appreciated my time with both Michael, the Dental Hygienist, and Dr. Petrova, who are both very good communicators with a very gentle touch. On my way out, Amber was super kind, helpful, and patient in figuring out my insurance for future visits. I've had several problems with my teeth I've been delaying for *years*, and I finally feel confident to get them fixed with this office's help!
