I offer immediate appointments for in-person or telehealth services. I specialize in ADHD, Depression, Anxiety and other mental health conditions. Are you an adult who thinks you have an undiagnosed or misdiagnosed ADHD? Or have been feeling anxious or overwhelmed and have or feel caught in persistent states of hopelessness? You deserve to be treated with kindness, dignity, and expertise, and it is my honor to walk alongside you on your journey to healing and mental wellness. I am a doctoral prepared psychiatric mental health practitioner with a deep commitment to providing compassionate, respectful, and individualized care. I have several years of extensive experience in critical care medicine and mental health. I bring a comprehensive and safety-focused approach, integrating my medical background to support your overall wellness.
I believe in truly listening to my patients, understanding their unique experiences to develop treatment plans that are safe, effective and empowering. Of any medical professional I’ve ever seen, I have never felt as dismissed as I did “talking” w Agnes. She asked only superficial questions (the same ones off the intake patient form), completely disregarded the opinions of other mental health professionals I’ve seen (despite not inquiring much further about why they formed their opinions), her reaction to me witnessing domestic abuse and substance abuse as a child was essentially “oh, okay. Well do you have nightmares about it?” with no further questions. When discussing past medication usage and therapy used to manage my mental health (which I had utilized over the course of 5+ years, stopping because I felt they weren’t what I needed) she literally said “if you want to get better you have to try.” There is literally not enough characters for this review to describe how awful that experience was. In short, I could barely get a word in and it seemed she assumed I was drug-seeking. So disheartening. she shouldn’t be in this field.
