It's common for our life stories to feel disjointed at times. Experiencing trauma, loss, or shame can make it challenging to integrate these difficult experiences into a coherent narrative. However, within a safe and nurturing relationship, it becomes possible to weave these experiences together and uncover a peaceful, wise, and empowered part of ourselves. My approach is influenced by psychoanalysis, object-relations, existential therapies, and internal family systems. I strive to embody compassion, non-judgment, and curiosity. I look forward to supporting you in your journey of healing. My child-focused work rests upon a deep respect for children. I have worked with children for over 20 years. Blending my special education background with my training in attachment and psychodynamic theories, I am able to offer CBT and behavioral interventions while also providing a unique understanding of a child’s developmental themes and conflicts. I also offer psychoeducational evaluations for the differential diagnosis of learning disabilities (including dyslexia), ADHD, and Autism. My extensive testing experience includes working on the Assessment Team at Rutgers, completing a Pediatric Neurodevelopment Assessment rotation at Jacobi Medical Center and seven years as a child study team psychologist.
