At Anew Dentistry, we make every effort to create a friendly, patient centered environment. We work together to provide quality dentistry for people of all ages. It is our goal to provide healthy and natural smiles for all our patients. Prevention As a practice, we believe that prevention and education are the keys to optimal dental health. We aim to practice “dental health care” rather than treat “dental disease." Therefore our dentist completes thorough exams – checking the overall health of your teeth and gums, performing VELscope® advanced oral cancer screening, and taking digital x-rays when necessary. But we are not only focused on the beauty of your smile, we’re also concerned about your health. A review of your medical history can help us stay informed of your overall health, any new medications, and any illnesses that may impact your dental health. Safety Additionally, we are committed to maintaining infection control standards and environmental safety. To protect our patients and ourselves, we follow sterilization and cross contamination processes using standards recommended by the American Dental Association (ADA), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and the Center for Disease Control (CDC). To protect the environment, we utilize an EPA approved water purification system, amalgam trap systems and employ a waste company to eliminate hazardous materials. Technology Our digital x-ray system is designed to minimize radiation exposure and assist with diagnosis and treatment planning. Our intraoral camera will allow you to visualize and assist with education. The VELscope Vx is the most powerful tool available for assisting in the discovery of oral abnormalities. The VELscope's distinctive blue-spectrum light causes the soft tissues of the mouth to naturally fluoresce. Healthy tissues fluoresce in distinctive patterns — patterns that are visibly disrupted by trauma or disease. Using the VELscope, a wide variety of oral abnormalities can be discovered — often before they're visible to the unassisted eye. Discovering soft tissue abnormalities is particularly important in the fight against oral cancer. Because the VELscope Vx assists in early detection, cancer can be caught before it has time to spread, potentially saving lives through less invasive, more effective treatment. CEREC (one visit crowns) - A technological innovation is the "Computer-assisted design-Computer-assisted manufacture" crown, or "CAD-CAM." CAD/CAM dentistry such as CEREC is the future of dentistry. Utilizing modern technology, our office can produce an accurate, safe, biocompatible dental crown, inlay, onlay in just one visit. These CEREC crowns are milled out of different types of ceramic material.

This was my first visit. Filled out my paperwork and got right in. Had some xrays and quickly got started on my cleaning. The Dr. came in after the cleaning and took some pictures of my teeth to use as references to discuss what was going on with my teeth. We discussed my options and scheduled my needed follow ups. The staff are all friendly, and very thorough. I hadn't had my teeth cleaned in a while and they spent as much time as they needed to make sure that they were fully cleaned. I also didn't have to wait at all - I was seen as soon as my appointment time came around. Dr. Wu was also friendly and knowledgeable.

I went in for a dental cleaning expecting to be done in 45 min but it took 1.5 hours. The assistant who took my xrays kept messing up and I think she took at least 15 (not exaggerating here). In addition, the thing they stick in your mouth to do the xrays looked like it was reused with bite marks on the plastic. I definitely felt a little grossed out. The dentist doesn't actually do the cleaning, a different assistant did it. She was nice and gentle. Upon finishing the cleaning, I was walked out and handed a bill of future services I needed. No explanation at all about what they were. I felt like just an opportunity for them to make money off of. The dentist was very nonchalant when I asked for more specifics about the services I needed. If you're going to be charging me, I'd at least like to know what you're doing. I'm going elsewhere to have my fillings replaced.

Deanna Wu, DDS, was very professional and definitely had a lot of expert knowledge to share. The premises were noticeably fresh and upscale. The receptionist was polite and courteous. All of the very latest technology was in use. The dental office was in a safe neighborhood, with ample underground parking. It appeared that there was free coffee in the waiting area.

Dr. Wu has professional bed side manner and takes the time to explain the treatment to you. However, her office email and appointment system is a disaster. I called in to reschedule an appointment and never got a call back. I get multiple texts, emails and phone calls to confirm appointments and remind me that I have appointments from the email system. Its aggravating!

Deanna knew what she was doing and related specifics about my treatment with detail and clarity, which I appreciated. She and her staff were clear about what I could expect in terms of risks, prevention of complications, and immediate and long term expectations for the state of my teeth and gums, and what to expect regarding the price of treatment. I would recommend them.
I have had bad experiences with Dentists in general, but I can honestly say that this is the first time that I enjoyed my visit. The chair gave me a massage while my teeth cleaning was done. It was so relaxing I fell asleep a couple of times. Super nice staff, very helpful. Highly recommend :)
Dr. Wu and her staff are absolutely phenomenal !!!! I arranged an initial visit online and received no less than 4 reminders through Zoc Doc. I was greeted by Alyssa who is incredibly pleasant to interact with both on the phone and in person. I was taken by Jane to start the visit before I could even finish the scant amount of paperwork for an initial visit. She is so very proficient in her work but so very friendly and attentive. And although I only interacted with her briefly, Mela also was very kind and pleasant. As to Dr. Wu, I cannot say enough good things about this provider. So very knowledgable and professional but at the same time so genuinely caring and concerned about providing the best care but very mindful of cost. As a healthcare provider myself, I can honestly say that she and her office staff take patient care to a different level. I was initially seen in the am and they extended their schedule on an already busy day to accommodate my need for immediate care and did so in a very gracious manner. I am just incredibly impressed by Dr. Wu and her staff and would highly recommend this office to everyone I know.
Dr. Wu is the best. She is a wonderful dentist and I know I'm in good hands when I have my appointments. The massage chairs are an added bonus. Very happy with the service and highly recommend.
I've gotten my best teeth cleanings from Dr. Wu. i feel that she does a very detailed job and has given me great feedback on how to keep my teeth and gums healthy. I've also gotten a tooth filled, retainers and night guard from her and have always been satisfied! i would definitely recommend going to see Dr. Wu.

She is good, friendly and explains everything really well. But she did some filling on some of my teeth without informing me about it. I would have expected to discuss such a major thing before it was done on my teeth. I did not even know that those teeth needed filling. That's not too professional.
The dentist was great and really explained in depth any concerns or things that may become concerns. The general office seemed a little less hygienic than other offices I've been in, but there is no stars for that particular area.
