Dr. Dylan Marks, DSW, LCSW
I imagine you may wonder what your life means. You might want to feel vitally connected to nature, the spiritual world and people in your life. Or you feel sad or numb and want to understand why, to feel more energy. Or you just want to sit still and not worry about the future. In one way or another, you are looking to feel safe and fulfilled, to relieve distress and feel less alone. Perhaps you feel loneliness and don't know what to do about it or have an addiction you sometimes hide and sometimes admit to yourself. You may have a child or adolescent you're concerned about, with conflicts you hope can heal.
I help children/adolescents and adults to imaginatively explore their feelings through mindfulness and talk therapy. The patient feels accepted and works through conflicts, becoming better self-regulated, able to realize their potential in the bio-psycho-social and spiritual areas of life, and more fulfilled in work and friendship, sharing.
I am very experienced and comfortable working with the LGBTQ population.
Feel free to reach out for a phone consultation, to ask questions in order to better understand whether meeting me makes sense for you. Let's discuss what you're seeking for yourself or your child and how I would address such needs in treatment.

I only had an initial intake to get the ball rolling for my son who is 18. I had a very pleasant and clear conversation with Dr. Marks and felt it would be a fit. Onwards from here.
