Dr. Joseph Yellin
Dr. Yellin is a board certified neurologist. Neurologists specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the brain and nervous system.
Diagnostic procedures play an important role in the neurology practice. Electromyography and nerve conduction studies (EMG/NCS) are performed when necessary to help diagnose conditions that cause pain, weakness and numbness such as carpal tunnel or "pinched nerves". Electroencephalography (EEG) records electrical activity in the brain to help detect and treat problems such as seizures and memory disorders. Dr. Yellin has extensive experience in all forms of electrodiagnostic testing. EMG/NCS and EEG's* are routinely and conveniently performed in our office.

Dr. Yellin was EXTREMELY rude to me during my first (and last) visit. He asked questions in an aggressive, agitated tone. He appeared to have been upset that I didn’t come to the visit with my prior test results, even though I was not asked to bring them. He also became unreasonably frustrated when I said I was not under a orthopedics doctor care, and was still seeing a physical therapist. WHY WOULD THESE THINGS UPSET HIM?? He sat quickly firing off questions in this aggressive manner until I stood and exited his office. I never received any treatment from Dr Yellin that day. I still have much pain in both hands and feet. And now I must search for a new neurologist. As a disabled senior. I dont want to think this was racially motivated, However, I was the only person of color (African American), in his office that day, and the only one leaving almost in tears. I was appalled at Dr. Yellin's unprovoked rudness. I do not recommend him, and will never make another appointment with him.
