Dr. Kristen Kelsey Psychological Services, PLLC

Hi, I'm so glad you found your way here. I'm a Clinical Psychologist based in the Denver, Colorado area, and I work with adults carrying anxiety, depression, insomnia, and the lasting effects of trauma. For me, therapy isn't just about reducing symptoms — it's about helping you come home to the parts of yourself that stress, fear, or past experiences may have pushed into the background. In our work together, I take a collaborative, grounded approach. You bring your lived experience, your history, and your strengths; I bring clinical expertise and a genuine respect for the courage it takes to simply show up. Together, we'll gently explore what's getting in the way and build tools that help you move forward with more clarity and confidence. Our first session is simply a chance for you to share what's happening in your world and what you're hoping will be different. From there, we'll shape a plan together that fits you — not a template or formula, but something that honors your needs, your pace, and your goals. My practice is grounded in more than a decade of clinical experience across outpatient mental health care, crisis intervention, psychological assessment, and evidence-based therapies. But more than my background, what guides my work is you. No two people experience anxiety, depression, or trauma the same way, so therapy should adapt to you — never the other way around. I work intentionally to create a space where you feel comfortable, respected, and free to speak openly. I listen closely, offer honest and compassionate feedback when it's helpful, and stay alongside you throughout the process — not as an authority telling you what to do, but as a partner walking beside you. I don't take it lightly that you're even considering this step. Choosing therapy is an act of courage — it means engaging with the parts of life you can influence, rather than turning away. That willingness is powerful, and it would be an honor to walk alongside you as you build a life that feels meaningful and fully your own.
