Dr. Patrice Patton-Campbell, LCPC, LMHC, LPC, NCC
My practice specializes in trauma-focused therapy for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families impacted by complex trauma, PTSD, human trafficking, exploitation, systemic trauma, and other adverse life experiences. I provide virtual therapy for clients throughout Illinois, Indiana, and Texas, offering a safe, compassionate, and culturally responsive environment where healing can begin at your own pace.
I understand the profound effects that trauma can have on emotional well-being, relationships, self-worth, identity, and daily functioning. My approach is grounded in trauma-informed care and tailored to each client's unique experiences, strengths, and goals. Together, we work to process difficult experiences, develop effective coping strategies, strengthen resilience, and restore a sense of safety, empowerment, and control.
In addition to treating complex trauma and PTSD, I support clients experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, relationship challenges, life transitions, and the lasting effects of systemic oppression and discrimination. I integrate evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), Narrative Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness, and strengths-based interventions to promote meaningful, lasting change.
Whether you're seeking support for yourself, your child, your relationship, or your family, my goal is to provide a safe, affirming space where your story is honored, your resilience is recognized, and healing is possible. Together, we'll work toward helping you move beyond survival and create a life that feels more grounded, connected, and fulfilling.
