Our podiatrist, Paul Potach, DPM is dedicated to getting to the root of all your foot or ankle concerns. Our offices are conveniently located in Wheeling and Berwyn, IL.
We are a full-service podiatry practice offering the entire spectrum of foot and ankle care from routine foot care to rear and forefoot surgery. Dr. Potach specializes in heel pain, toenail fungus and nail trimming, hammertoes, orthotics, and much more! We pride ourselves on treating our patients with the respect and care that they deserve.

The result was not what I was looking for. I needed nail trimming and callus removal. The nails were left long and only top layers of the calluses were removed. I had to retouch everything when I got home (with help; I'm 90 years old and if I could do it myself I wouldn't need a podiatrist!)
The doctor was nice and I guess he can help in other areas, but not it was not for me.

Was seen by Dr Potach for outward foot stance due to weight and trauma from working out ???. I never realized I needed orthotics. I’m now able to walk , stand for long periods and continue working out .
Th orthotics relieved all weight I had going sideways .

I would not recommend this Dr, the office was messy and when I was finally seen the exam room door wouldn’t close, popped open both the nurse and Dr made no attempt to close it so anyone could see or hear what was going on.
The examination had no empathy and my foot was actually made worse by the Dr examination due to its roughness. The Dr seemed more bothered about a potential ingrowing nail than my joint issue.

I almost feel bad leaving a 1-star review because Peggy (receptionist) was wonderful but...if you are going to talk on the phone for 30+ minutes while I wait in pain on your chair about a car insurance issue...then you aren't going to be getting my money. Extremely disappointed in this Doctor. Your walls are not that thick.

What a great doctor! I went in for a second opinion and I am glad I did. He spent time with me discussing my concerns unlike a previous doctor I saw. I felt so comfortable and very happy my problems are going to get resolved.

Great first experience with Dr. Potach and his professional clinical and office staff. My insurance benefits were thoroughly reviewed before my appointment, and they clearly explained all costs and co-pays. I've been having problems on my nails for years and normally they'd take most of my day to treat it. Dr. Potach just simply went right into the root of the problem and made it feel like 5 to 10 minutes only. I would highly recommend!
