Dr. Stephanie Tacopina

Welcome! I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist with expertise in general mental health concerns such as stress and anxiety, depression, relationships, chronic illness, career and identity issues. I provide a safe space to explore difficult feelings, improve relationship and attachment skills, and guide clients to achieve greater meaning and peace in their lives. In working with me, you can expect a collaborative and non-judgmental environment, while exploring the causes and triggers for how you are feeling. I have over 10 years of clinical and research experience, with specialized training in psychodynamic therapy from New York Psychoanalytic Institute and Mt Sinai hospitals,h training working with first responders from NYPD, and completed APA accredited internship at Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn. I received my doctorate MA/PhD in Clinical Psychology from LIU-Brooklyn.
