I practice psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, and have monthly groups. I am a Clinical Psychologist with over 45 years of experience, If someone would like to begin a psychotherapeutic process with me I suggest an initial extended time consultation of 90 minutes, before setting up ongoing psychotherapy sessions for 45r minutes. I will send an email offering a possible time for the 90 minute consultation, and will email information on the initial consultation fee. Ongoing psychotherapy fees can be discussed during this initial 90 minute consultation time.
I also do writing consultations and consultations for supervision of psychotherapists. I am working online now, from my home office now, as well as on the phone, although I maintain my Manhattan coop office. Once I am paid online (ususally through Zelle, to my email) , in advance, for the initial consultation, I send a link through gotomeeting for the person seekiing my servicces to meet me for our consulation online.

I am familiar with Dr. Susan Kavaler-Adler's treatment skills over the course of many years as a result of taking courses and workshops she taught and attending conferences where she presented papers illustrating her in-depth psychoanalytic work with patients. I have also read many of her books and journal articles. In my professional opinion, Dr. Kavaler-Adler is a brilliant thinker, with the ability to communicate highly complex clinical material, and a gifted psychotherapist, with the ability to help patients heal from trauma and grow into their fullest potential!
