Dr Vallis Virtual Therapy
My name is Dr. Vallis-
I believe everyone breaks and everyone can heal. To heal, first acknowledge that something was broken, then find a health care team, then set a path for that healed version of you. You will take new steps, with new behaviors to create a healing environment. Your body really does know how to heal. Just like when you broke your arm... while in the cast your body did what it does.

Dr. Vallis gives practical, actionable steps and has helped me see how certain thought patterns and past experiences have been shaping my decisions and affecting how I carry out my leadership responsibilities. I'd highly recommend her.

What I appreciate most about Dr. Vallis is that she’s straight with me, but always kind. She helps me recognize when I’m going down a rabbit hole and find my way back to what matters. She also gives me practical things to work on between sessions, so I leave with a clearer perspective and a next step. I feel supported and challenged in a way that helps me grow.

I think Dr. Vallis is AMAZING. I scheduled an appointment with her because of crippling anxious thoughts with panic attacks. She gave me tools immediately. In the first session she taught me a breathing practice (I still use)- it worked. I couldn't believe my mind slowed down and I could feel myself calming down. I was usually 100 miles a minute with racing thoughts and fearing the future and I was actually slowing down. After I was calm, she asked me notice how I felt. She said to notice my mind...and notice my body. I even yawned I was so calm. I think she was teaching me calm and teaching me awareness- right in that session. She said if I wanted a different life I would have to practice different behaviors- and taught me a new behavior the first time I met her. She gives homework that I started that day, and she gave me 2 books that anyone with ANXIEY or PANIC should have in their bookshelf! Highly Recommend Dr. Vallis!

She is the best therapist I have ever seen. I started therapy after my divorce 15 years ago and have seen a few docs over the years because I had so many things going on- sleep, work, chronic pain, work stress and the custody battle. When I met Dr. Vallis, I was at my lowest point and she was there. She speaks in a very plain matter-of- fact way. She listened to what I said, read what I wrote and was really paying attention. She was tracking everything I said, and paying close attention to what I "didn't say out loud". I never repeated myself and didn't have to repeatedly explain anything to her and she remembered everything I told her session after session. She does give you homework so you can practice.
She helped me with my nightmares, my sleep apnea, my mood and the trauma from my childhood. She helped me with all of it. I saw her weekly for about a year, then went to biweekly, then monthly and now quarterly. She convinced me HEALING is possible. I am a better man for seeing her!

Dr. Vallis is an outstanding therapist. From our very first session, she made me feel heard and understood, without judgment. She's incredibly perceptive, asks thoughtful questions, and has a real gift for helping me see things from a new perspective. I always leave our sessions feeling lighter. She strikes the perfect balance between compassion and honest, constructive feedback. If you're looking for a therapist who genuinely cares and knows what she's doing, I can't recommend Dr. Vallis enough.

I really like working with Dr. Vallis - she is down to earth, listens, asks me questions, asks me why I am doing things, asks me if I like the results and most importantly, she stays on track of the goal and the progress. I think she has been at this a long time because it seems she knows the answer to any question I have about anxiety, stress, sleep, emotional overwhelm, childhood patterns, relationships. She always says if she does not know he will tell me...I haven't' found something she doesn't know about yet. She does challenge me on my BS- which I like. I will say something and she will just say it back to me and ask me how it sounds. Of course, I don't like it. It's hard to hold myself accountable, so I am forever grateful that she is in my life because I have never felt like she judged me once. I am a much worse judge of myself. She is always just very kind to me and I always feel better after a session with her. If you can book a session- do it!

you will love her. I was really very impressed. She is likely the most supportive, engaging and down-to-earth psychologist I have ever met with. She simplified psychological terms and was clear about the benefits of various treatment options. have also taken her mindfulness meditation class and that has helped my anxiety and anger more than words can say. She has been very proactive in helping me consider how all areas of my health are linked. She sent me to a pain management specialist after explaining how my pain was linked to my anger and sleep issues. She has even helped my wife better understand how some of the behavioral health challenges I face can show up in some of my communication issues. I consider myself quite fortunate to have met her, worked on my issues with her, learned from her and been inspired by her.

Dr. Vallis is amazing. She is the best and I have seen 5 or 6 other therapists in the past (social workers and psychologists). She helped me slow down long enough to realize the heavy burden that I had been carrying for so long. She listened to my goals and when I asked for specific things I could do right now- she gave me a list of things! I tried them, not all at once, but I tried them and they worked! And I am myself again. There is no real way I can thank her. She helped me to change my life for the better!
