Dr. Phu was great, kind, personable and warm. I would come back again. The receptionist in teal who was there Tuesday April 14th at 1pm was also amazing, sweet, kind, and a joy to be helped by.

I had a great visit with some of the staff and doctor. He was very thorough and helpful.
The front desk staff could be a bit more patient and seemed irritated with having to repeat herself because I was asking a couple more questions.
Overall, I like the office and the visit.

Dr. Phu was super friendly, down to earth, and understanding. I felt like I was being heard and treated as a person rather than a doctor trying to push through patients without care. I really enjoyed that the doctor and his staff all had a friendly demeanor. His explanation of everything was clear and easy to make sense of rather than spewing big medical terms at me without caring if I understood or not. Definitely will come back to see him again when I need a new check-up.

I did't realize, initially, that this was a Pearle Vision office, but once I arrived it was nice to see a trusted name on the marquee. I'd booked the appointment just the day prior so I was happy to get in on a Saturday afternoon to begin with. However, when I arrived the process was seamless, they were ready to see me as soon as I finished the paperwork. Dr. Phu was both efficient and personable. The office also had the latest technology, including this cool machine that checks for glaucoma that was far better than the traditional eye drop dilation. The staff, Trini and Diane were very sweet and even helped me decide on my frames, a designer pair that was priced well below my expectations. My visit was swift yet thorough and my glasses will be ready in about 2 weeks! I'd recommend Dr. Phu, his staff, and this Pt. Loma (San Diego) Pearle Vision location without any reservation.
