We are one of the few dental offices in New York that have an experienced in-house dental laboratory. Here, we work diligently with our highly-skilled dental technicians to craft aesthetic, natural, and perfectly balanced smiles for our patients.

I don't usually compliment doctors much less dentists- but this Dental office was FANTASTIC! His office is spotless clean, staff was friendly and professional, the dental hygienist took her time, explained everything, tried to be gentle while taking x-rays and educated me on better techniques for teeth cleaning at home. While the visit took almost 2 hours, it felt shorter because of the detailed attention I received on my first visit! I had root canal treatments done at another dental office but they didn't take my new insurance, so I found this one. I need crowns for 2 teeth- the doctor checked the health of my current teeth with 3D images that were reviewed with me. He explained everything and provided a detailed bill for anything not covered. He is a techie doc with a TV on the ceiling and smart eyeglasses to use while you are worked on! I had a GREAT experience and recommend him highly!

The actual dentist was perfect! Front desk was lovely and welcoming. The only issues I had were with I think the dental assistant or hygienist that cleaned my teeth. Didnt introduce themselves, not very good bedside manner, doesn't know how to explain what she's going to do until she's midway doing it and overall made a not so good first impression. Part of the reason I avoid the dentist is because I've always dealt with unfriendly staff. Only reason to go back here was is for the actual dentist and the 2 other girls who helped me.

Dr. Shimumov and his entire staff went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable, and made my multiple visits as comfortable as possible. It was my first time going to the dentist in the US, and also after nearly 10 years - due to dental anxiety from past experiences. This experience and the medical care I received here has changed my mindset on how dental visits can and should be. Now they’ve set the standard so high that I can’t imagine getting dental work without this level of professionalism, and care for patients’ health and comfort! I’m really thankful for the consideration and patience I received, especially taking my procedures at a pace I was comfortable with and ensuring no pain. This helped me to address my dental issues, which was much needed but put off due to fear. I’m looking forward to keeping this as my regular dental clinic!

I had blinding pain and my appointment was made for Thursday 21st but I called on Monday 18th asking if they can see me.. Sure enough Dr. Israel said yes he’ll see me. He was kind, patient. My experience with Dr. Israel Shimunov's office and his team was phenomenal. Everyone was extremely friendly and attentive. I felt comfortable through my entire experience. Most importantly, Dr. Shimunov was patient in explaining my dental options to me and helping me understand what was going on. I felt comfortable asking questions knowing I would be provided the appropriate information.
I had an extraction and fillings done and it was a quick and painless process. Dr Shimunov made sure to ask me how I was feeling throughout the entire process, which I appreciated.
I definitely think anyone in the area looking for a team to help meet their dental needs should choose Dr. Israel Shimunov and his team! I'm glad I chose them!
