Dreavita Counseling, Coaching, and Consulting Inc

Dreavita is a nonprofit telehealth therapy practice. We are a real practice, not a marketplace: every clinician works within one clinical team with shared supervision, and our billing team verifies your benefits before your first session. We see adults, couples, families, and teens by secure video across Florida, New York, California, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, Washington, Georgia, Illinois, Ohio, Michigan, Mississippi, Utah, Colorado, and Alaska. Each clinician's profile shows exactly which states, ages, and session types they cover. Our clinicians work with anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, ADHD, OCD, perinatal and postpartum mental health, substance use, life transitions, and relationship concerns. Approaches include CBT, DBT, ACT, EMDR, Internal Family Systems, and Emotionally Focused Therapy, depending on the clinician. Sessions are available in English, Spanish, Hindi, and Haitian Creole. We are LGBTQIA+ affirming and work with many immigrant, first-generation, and multicultural clients. When your circumstances change, such as a move to another state or a change in insurance, we work to keep your care going rather than starting over. Most major insurance plans are accepted, and self-pay is available.

Andrea understood the kind of anxiety that comes with being the person everyone relies on. I’m very functional on the outside, so it was a relief to work with someone who could see that being capable doesn’t mean everything is fine.
Verified patient
I really appreciated being able to talk openly about my relationships without having to explain or justify being poly. Andrea treated it as normal context and focused on the actual reasons I came to therapy.
Verified patient
I was nervous about EMDR and Andrea never rushed the process. She explained what we were doing, checked in often, and made me feel like I was in control of the pace the entire time.
Verified patient
I had spent a long time treating certain thoughts like they were problems I needed to solve over and over. Andrea helped me recognize the OCD pattern underneath them, which completely changed how I approached it.
Verified patient
Getting diagnosed with ADHD as an adult made me rethink a lot of my life. Andrea helped me sort through the grief, relief, masking, and burnout without making me feel like I needed to become a different person.
Verified patient
Andrea has been one of the first therapists I’ve worked with who could talk about food and body image without immediately turning the conversation into weight or dieting. I felt respected and actually listened to.

My first time seeing anyone it’s was a very positive experience

Ishmel is incredibly knowledgeable, but what stood out most was how human she is. She’s smart, funny, and so easy to talk to
Verified patient
She helped me find my voice again after leaving a toxic relationship. Her sessions were a turning point for me.
Verified patient
I came in for anxiety and ended up healing things I didn’t even realize I was holding onto. She’s amazing.
Verified patient
Ishmel understood my cultural background in a way no other therapist has. I felt truly seen and supported

Lori was open-minded and affirming, especially regarding my identity exploration. I left feeling validated and optimistic.
Verified patient
I felt understood and genuinely cared for. The session gave me tools to cope with my depression and academic stress.
Verified patient
Lori gave me all the time to talk and great advice.
She gets how the mind and body connect. I came in for anxiety but also left with tools to take care of myself holistically.
Verified patient
She brings real wisdom and calm to every session. I’m managing my stress at work better and feeling more like myself again.
Verified patient
Bri helped me reconnect with my values and show up more fully in my relationships. It’s been a transformative experience.
Verified patient
Bri is warm, grounded, and insightful. I felt immediately safe exploring some of my past and how it still affects me.
Verified patient
As someone who’s both neurodivergent and in a high-pressure job, I needed someone who got both. Bri really gets it.
Verified patient
She helped me connect the dots between burnout and my identity. It wasn’t just talk, she helped me take action.
Verified patient
Highly recommend she was amazing I felt seen and heard and loved the feeling after can’t wait for my next appointment.
Verified patient
Between work and kids I had no margin, Shyann helped me set boundaries and actually a better parent because of her.
Verified patient
I appreciated that Nashat understood how stigma around therapy and mental health can show up in immigrant families. She made the process feel comfortable and normal rather than clinical or intimidating.
Verified patient
I felt like Nashat understood the experience of balancing two cultures and the pressure that can come with trying to meet everyone’s expectations. Our conversations felt very validating and practical.
Verified patient
Nashat created a space where I could talk honestly about culture, family expectations, relationships, and identity. I never felt like she was stereotyping me or assuming she already knew my experience.
Verified patient
As someone from a Middle Eastern background, I appreciated being able to talk openly about family pressure, guilt, boundaries, and expectations without feeling judged or misunderstood.
Verified patient
One of the biggest reasons I felt comfortable with Nashat was that I didn’t have to spend half the session explaining cultural context. She understood the nuances while still treating me as an individual.
Verified patient
Nashat was very thoughtful about the role culture, family, and community play in mental health. I appreciated that she didn’t treat those things as either completely good or completely bad.
Verified patient
It was refreshing to talk with a therapist who understood how complicated mental health can feel in a South Asian family. She was respectful of my culture without making assumptions about me.
Verified patient
really appreciated working with someone who understood the cultural and family dynamics that can come with being South Asian. I didn’t feel like I had to explain every little thing before we could get to the actual issue.
Verified patient
I’ve had experiences where I felt like I had to translate my family or cultural background to a therapist first. With Nashat, I felt understood much more quickly, which helped me feel comfortable opening up.
Verified patient
I was realy tired of just trying to talk it all out and for once she had ways of working on things that weren't just talking.
Verified patient
I've been seeing Darby for over a year and it's been great. I was worried about starting therapy but am so glad I did.
Verified patient
I just got started with Darby but it was quick and easy and I am having a good experience so far.
Verified patient
love her! she is so smart and just seems to get it. I always look forward to our sessions
Verified patient
Very nice but also direct which I really need sometimes
Verified patient
She is super smart, I always feel like I am learning and understanding myself better. If you're worried about getting started, I would say just go for it.
Verified patient
She is reliable and easy to work with. I haven't had any issues using insurance with her or scheduling which is unusual based on my prior experiences.
Verified patient
I wish I had found her earlier but and happy to have found her at all. I have been to therapy several times and even tried EMDR before but its worked much better with her and I really feel a big difference finally.
Verified patient
Alyson has been especially helpful with the exhaustion that comes from constantly trying to function like everyone else. She helped me understand my needs without making me feel lazy or overly sensitive, and that has changed the way I approach both work and relationships.
Verified patient
One of the things I like most about Alyson is that therapy with her feels collaborative. She listens to what is and isn’t working and adjusts instead of trying to force one particular approach.
Verified patient
Finding a therapist who understands ADHD and neurodivergence has made such a difference. Alyson didn’t treat the way my brain works like something that needed to be fixed, and I felt much less judged than I have in the past.
Verified patient
I was nervous about trying EMDR, but Alyson explained everything clearly and let me move at my own pace. I always felt like I had a choice in what we worked on and how far we went.
Verified patient
Alyson is knowledgeable without making therapy feel overly clinical. She is compassionate, down to earth, and gives me space to process while still helping the session go somewhere.
Verified patient
Alyson really understands the difference between anxiety and the overwhelm that can come with ADHD/autism. I appreciated not having every struggle automatically treated like an anxiety problem.
Verified patient
I came to Alyson feeling completely burned out and overwhelmed. She helped me understand why I kept reaching that point and gave me practical things I could actually use between sessions.
Verified patient
I’ve spent a lot of my life feeling like I should just be able to handle more than I can. Alyson helped me look at that with a lot less shame and understand my limits in a healthier way.
Verified patient
I really appreciate Alyson’s approach to trauma. She never pushed me to talk about things before I was ready, and I felt like there was actually a plan for how we were going to work through things instead of just talking about my week.
Verified patient
Alyson made me feel comfortable almost immediately. I’ve had therapy before where I felt like I was just explaining myself over and over, but with her I felt understood much more quickly.
