Our team in anchored by two board certified physicians, Dr Veena Prabhu and Dr. Prabhu Shivalingappa. Both physicians have been practicing in the Hinsdale area for over 15 years. We are dedicated to excellent care and focus our practice on patient satisfaction.
We see patients 12 y/o and older and specialize in Internal Medicine. We provide routine and urgent care. Both doctors provide gynecologic care for women of all ages.

I love seeing Dr Prabhu and all the providers at this pratice, from the muse practitioners to the allergy shot-givers, to the doctors, to the students. I have never had a bad eperience.
I particularly appreciate the suggestion for allergy drops to deal with my seasonal and pet allergies. The drops are an easy solution I can administer myself at home, with occasional visits to the office for quick shots (which is also a great time to remember to make an appointment for any other issues.). I really appreciate the doctor’s suggestion that the allergy shots might alleviate some of my other problems.
The practice is so helpful in helping me take care of my own health. I recommend them to everyone.

I can’t recommend Dr. Prabhu and this office enough! They are so kind, understanding, and incredibly efficient. Both my husband and I are patients here, and the team has gone above and beyond for us, especially when it came to navigating and figuring out our insurance. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and you can truly tell they care about their patients. It’s rare to find a medical office that combines professionalism with such genuine compassion, but this one absolutely does.

Very confusing office. Staff unclear with instructions and sent me to places that were closed. I went in to get blood pressure medicine and they never told me whether they prescribed me something or not and the website shows medicine but not where to pick it up. Overall very poor experience and I would not recommend to anyone. I felt very rushed and they did not take time to listen to what I wanted help with. Seems like they just wanted me out of there as quick as possible

The provider takes a while to review my labs. I still haven't gotten a feedback, prescription or treatment plan regarding my concerns. I followed up with the office and they just told me to wait for a call. I'm feeling ill and I just wait?
Also during my visit the front desk was going to send me home without my labs being done like they didn't review my referrals, I had to remind them. Not very friendly either.

I didn’t see Dr Prahbu like I booked but honestly I didn’t mind!! I saw an NP named Jennifer and she was amazing. Super attentive and helpful. There was also an np student but I forget her name she was great too. All the women in the office were really nice and helpful I felt very comfortable which is the most important thing for me!!

Dr. Prabhu is a wonderful doctor to work with! She listened to my needs and concerns thoughtfully, and even though it was my first visit with their practice, they made me feel heard and seen. She's not judgmental, and from my first impression of her, she was genuinely understanding.
As I'm a plus size woman who is obese (probably "morbidly" since that's the word they use, and already has a certain connotation) and trying to lose weight and get my health in order, I've dealt with my fair share of doctors who've had their biases dealing with someone my size. Dr. Prabhu is willing to help me and not judge and for that, I can't be thankful enough.

Dr. Veena Prabhu was phenomenal! I have so much health anxiety due to some past scares and Veena along with her NP student, Maggie, put me right at ease. She addressed all of my concerns, and then her follow up action items and recommendations reflected her keen listening ear. I have gone through 2 different PCPs and I have now found my permanent doctor!

I didn't get to meet the doctor I made the appointment for, with no explanation. While staff was friendly, I was uncomfortable with the lack of privacy. The walls were thin, I could here what was going on in the exam rooms next to mine, and overhear them discussing my own information in the hallway.

I had searched for a new doctor since I’d moved recently and my previous doctor was over 50 miles away. The staff was very professional. The nurse practitioner went patiently through my medical history and I was later seen by Dr Prabhu who patiently explained what follow up tests. I felt very confortable with my choice.
