Christopher Tomaino, MD, a board-certified gastroenterologist at East Coast Gastroenterology and Endoscopy, offers comprehensive care for a variety of gastrointestinal symptoms and disorders. He is board-certified in both internal medicine and gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Tomaino specializes in creating customized treatment plans to address individual patient needs and uses the latest technologies to perform colonoscopy and upper endoscopy. In addition to diagnosing the cause of unexplained symptoms, Dr. Tomaino can address acute and chronic gastrointestinal disorders like acid reflux, Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, and diverticulitis.
East Coast Gastroenterology and Endoscopy also offers comprehensive services to treat painful hemorrhoids using minimally invasive techniques. Dr. Tomaino can also diagnose all stages of liver disease. He customizes a treatment plan to manage the condition in the long-term and reduce risk factors for complications like liver failure.
