Dr. Hazan has been seeing my kids for over 10 years, and he is hands down the best pediatrician you can wish for. He genuinely cares, he goes above and beyond for your kids, and has unparalleled depth of knowledge.

Took my son to Dr. Valerian as a new patient since we are new to Westchester. We arrived almost an hour early expecting to wait until our appt time but they saw us right away. Everyone at the front desk was extremely nice, helpful & efficient. Dr Valerian was really nice & welcoming yet straight to the point, which I like. He even caught a mistake regarding my sons vaccinations which I was completely unaware of (not a big deal, but glad to know he is on top of things). He explains things thoroughly & asks if you have any questions & actually listens. I feel very confident in my choice of a new pediatrician for my son and would def recommended him to anyone I know.

Hey, everything was great with the doctor. They don't pick up the phone at all. It is really hard to get to speak to someone on the phone.

Friendly enough though he made his judgement clear about my intentions of a holisitic upbringing for my child- starting with a scoff at hearing about our planned homebirth. Didn’t really bother me but may bother some people.
Staff was very friendly and efficient. Later PM appointments was a plus.
He is NOT tolerant of delayed vaccination schedules for infants if you are looking for something like that. Supportive of exclusive breastfeeding though, which was a happy surprise.
Probably wouldn’t recommend to those seeking a practitioner who respects informed consent but if you’re looking for a nice and efficient run of the mill western doc, he’s your guy !
