Dr Suveyd was real informative about controlling my blood sugar with both diet and medication. He asked pertinent questions & was more than willing to answer my healthcare questions. He told me how to apply for a very good coupon on a 24 hour blood sugar monitor from the manufacturer, and when I didn’t qualify because of having Medicare, he started the process of prior authorization with my prescription insurance & is appealing the insurance first denial. He asked if I was safe at home & I assured him I was, as I live alone. He then expressed concern as to whether anyone checks on me, as I am a senior citizen. Also, he asked if I was able to cook for myself, and fortunately I am able to. He clearly cares a great deal about his patients, and I certainly appreciate it. Lastly, I’ll mention, he went over all my medications, my diabetes history, and other medical history. He offers virtual appointments too. Anyone in need of an endocrinologist would do very well to hire Dr Suveyd!

This endocrinologist visit was truly the worst doctor visit I have ever had. He did not listen to me, he continuously interrupted me, and he did not explain anything about my new condition to me. He just sat there looking at his phone and throwing prescriptions at me with little to no explanation. I left the appointment feeling defeated which is the last thing I’m looking for as I navigate my new diagnosis. If I could give him a 0/5 stars, I would.

I am extremely impressed by Dr. Suveyd's knowledge and willingness to help me transition into a high-quality diabetic - after hit or miss education of 40 years as a Type I diabetic! He educated me on how I was not utilizing my insulin pump to the extent it can actually help me! Dr. Suveyd actually took the time to show me how to get acquainted with its options and how to set it up correctly to make it more efficient for my specific needs! He made several suggestions to provide the BEST care for me! We discussed all medications I am currently on as well as my family medical history. I am extremely excited about all the possibilities to get my A1c to an acceptable level after all of these years! Dr. Suveyd is an EXCEPTIONAL physician with a phenomenal bedside manner!

Didn’t listen to anything I said and insinuated my previous doctors were wrong; I saw them for years and this guy spent less than 30 minutes with me. Then he wanted me to get new bloodwork which was fine but I told him quest wasn’t covered by my insurance and still tried to send me there anyway. I fully believe he never would’ve treated a male patient the way he treated me. If you’re a woman and actually want medical care instead of being written off, don’t bother with this dude.

Harsh symptoms of fatigue and other negative symptoms that just plagued me and has greatly affected my quality of life. Frustrated with no answers for yrs, things just got too much to ignore. Visited a practice I’ve been a patient at for yrs. Saw an NP as my doc was booked far out, who was certain it’s hypothyroidism. Lack of evidence with labs, further testing etc, levothyroxine was prescribed. I don’t think so! Demanded a referral to Endo and found this doctor after frustration of the back and forth with the providers office I was referred to, over a bill from age 15 at a place I’d never been to. This doc took time to look over my recent labs, listen to my symptoms and concerns. Asked me a lot questions, gave me his medical opinion and discussed what labs he felt needed ordered. It’s a step toward the right direction FINALLY! For once, I feel hopeful maybe I’ll get some answers and direction. Thankful for this initial consult with a thorough specialist. Highly recommend!

So so thankful for the option to see an endocrinologist virtually! Everyone in person near me has absurd wait times and waitlists to be seen, and all I needed was a prior authorization for a specific thyroid med I’m on. Dr Hammami was easily the most insightful and knowledgeable thyroid doc I’ve seen, sharing insights on what to focus on for helping thyroid conversion, even mentioning the possibility of T3 meds in conjunction with T4 if ever needed. She also ordered all the bloodwork I requested without issue. So thankful and would definitely see again if needed!
