EJGCounseling

I have been a high school counselor for 9 years and a high school teacher for 7 years before that. I enjoy working with adolescents ages 12-18 and have experience in most areas of mental health for this age group. My areas of expertise are anxiety, depression, self-esteem, peer relationships, grief, self-harming, substance misuse, suicidal ideation, family conflict and others (just ask!) I use a variety of ways to target these issues but primarily focus on Reality therapy, Culturally Sensitive therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief therapy. I take parts of all of these to work with clients and families for strategies they can implement effectively for positive changes.
