I have received formal training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. My master's level education and subsequent training was psychodynamically oriented and and in my continuous professional education I have found the principles of Acceptance and Commitment therapy to resonate deeply with my style and philosophical leanings.

Everyone knows that when you start going to a new therapist the first couple sessions is them getting the information about you your history and why you’re there. He asked the right questions, very attentive when I was speaking, make sure he was understanding what I was saying/trying to say. Although I’ve only had one session with him, I can tell that he puts a lot of effort into making sure that things are running smoothly with insurance and my work/personal schedule. I really appreciate that about him. I can tell that he thinks things through with the information that is given to him and he gives professional feedback and make sure that it’s being articulated in a way that makes it easy to understand where he’s coming from. Looking forward to working with him in the future! ?
