While attending the University of California, at Santa Barbara, Dr. Mahtaban suffered a horrific back injury one year prior to receiving his Bachelor of Arts Degree, which rendered him virtually handicapped. This experience led to Dr. Mahtaban’s decision to alter his career path, and ultimately devote his life to healthcare. While desperately seeking the help of western medicine, Dr. Mahtaban was surprised to discover, that at the youthful age of 21, all medical professionals who examined him, recommended surgery and pain medication to “solve” his problem. Unwilling to accept the risks involved with surgical procedures and the side effects of long term medication, Dr. Mahtaban continued his search for the cure.

After going through extensive tests (colonoscopy, endoscopy,…) for digestive issues and suffering for over a year without knowing the reason. Dr. Mahtaban has immediately understood my issue and helped me feel better after one session when no other doctor, gastro or chiropractor managed to help me feel a little relieved. Happy to have finally found a genuine doctor who cares about his patients.

I came in after reading the amazing zoc doc reviews and the experience exceeded my already high expectations! I had some cracks/soreness in my back and am headed to play golf for a couple days so came in to have those issues addressed. Dr. Mahtaban diagnosed my problems really quickly and was able to work out the muscle tightness on the right side of my back in one session. I felt 100X better and am looking forward to going back for a follow up!
Additionally, the office was really nice. Great décor and clean/calming environment. The front desk was also exceptionally helpful (accepted my insurance) and friendly. Overall a great experience!
