I would highly recommend Dr. Nichelson, DO. The office had a more relaxing atmosphere compared to other offices I have been to, everyone was kind. I didn’t have a long wait time. Dr. Nichelson is an OB/Gyn who specializes in menopause! Her focus on overall health, and knowledge of how hormones affect health, is both impressive and refreshing. It is rare to find a doctor like Dr. Nichelson, whose goal is prevention. Her ability to effectively communicate the many changes that occur during menopause is unmatched. I found it therapeutic just to have her confirm that the afflictions that beset me during perimenopause, are afflicting me because of perimenopause. I also appreciate her patient-driven approach. She does not endeavor to push prescriptions on patients. Rather, she arms patients with information to make informed decisions about their healthcare. Her focus on patient education is impeccable, providing emailed explanations of the tests she orders and why. She takes time with patients an answers all questions in lay terms. You don't need a medical degree to understand her. I recommend Dr. Nichelson to every "Lady of A Certain Age."
