EMINENCE PSYCHIATRIC AND WELLNESS CENTER PLLC

At Eminence Psychiatric & Wellness Center PLLC, we believe exceptional mental health care begins with listening. Our approach is compassionate, personalized, and collaborative, focused on understanding the whole person, not simply treating a diagnosis or a list of symptoms. Led by Omowunmi Rachael Ayeni, APRN, PMHNP-BC, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Eminence provides comprehensive psychiatric care in a welcoming, respectful, and nonjudgmental environment. We understand that seeking mental health treatment can feel overwhelming, and our goal is to make the process comfortable, supportive, and empowering from your first appointment forward. Our Approach to Care Mental health treatment is not one-size-fits-all. Every patient brings a unique combination of experiences, concerns, strengths, medical history, lifestyle factors, and treatment goals. We take the time to understand these factors before developing an individualized treatment plan. Our philosophy emphasizes shared decision-making. We encourage patients to ask questions, express concerns, and actively participate in decisions about their care. When medications are considered, we discuss the purpose of treatment, available options, expected benefits, potential side effects, and alternatives so patients can make informed decisions. Treatment may include psychiatric evaluation, medication management, supportive psychotherapy, behavioral and lifestyle recommendations, patient education, and coordination with other healthcare professionals when appropriate. Conditions We Treat We provide evaluation and ongoing treatment for a variety of mental health concerns, including: • Anxiety and excessive worry • Depression and mood changes • Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) • Bipolar disorder • Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) • Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) • Insomnia and sleep-related concerns • Stress and difficulty coping with life transitions • Other emotional and behavioral health concerns A thorough evaluation helps determine the most appropriate diagnosis and treatment recommendations for each individual. What Makes Eminence Different We believe patients deserve more than a brief conversation followed by a prescription. Our goal is to understand what you are experiencing, how your symptoms are affecting your everyday life, and what you hope to accomplish through treatment. We strive to create an environment where patients feel heard rather than rushed, respected rather than judged, and involved rather than excluded from decisions about their care. Medication may be an important part of treatment, but it is not the only consideration. We look at the broader picture, including sleep, stress, relationships, daily routines, physical health, coping strategies, and other factors that may influence emotional well-being. Your First Appointment Your initial psychiatric evaluation is an opportunity for us to understand your concerns and establish a foundation for treatment. We will discuss your current symptoms, psychiatric and medical history, previous treatments, medications, family history, lifestyle, and treatment goals. We will then work together to determine appropriate next steps. When medication is recommended, you will have an opportunity to discuss your options and ask questions before making a treatment decision. Follow-up appointments allow us to evaluate your progress, monitor medication effectiveness and tolerability when applicable, address new concerns, and adjust your treatment plan as your needs change. Whole-Person, Patient-Centered Care At Eminence, our goal extends beyond reducing symptoms. We want to help patients achieve greater emotional stability, strengthen resilience, improve daily functioning, and experience a better quality of life. We recognize that emotional wellness can be influenced by the mind, body, relationships, environment, personal values, and life experiences. Our approach considers these factors while remaining grounded in evidence-based psychiatric care. For patients who value spirituality or faith as part of their wellness journey, faith-sensitive support can also be incorporated into care upon request and according to the patient's individual preferences. A Partnership in Your Mental Health Whether you are seeking psychiatric care for the first time, returning to treatment after time away, or looking for a different approach because you have not achieved the progress you hoped for, you are welcome at Eminence. You do not need to have everything figured out before your first appointment. You simply need a place to begin. Our commitment is to meet you where you are, listen carefully, and work alongside you to develop a thoughtful treatment plan that supports where you want to go. At Eminence Psychiatric & Wellness Center PLLC, mental health care is more than symptom management; it is a partnership centered on helping you move toward greater wellness, confidence, and quality of life. Mind. Wellness. Eminence.
