My daughter is 4 years old and her 2nd time at the dentist but first at a pediatric dentist. I was happy that they accommodated me on the dentist chair so that I could hold her and I was also relieved they had Netflix and she could choose which show she wanted to watch which really was to distract her a little. The TV screen was on top so that helped to keep her lying down.
The hygienist was gentle and patient with her requests and explained to her slowly what she was doing each time and also tried to distract her with the dragon soft toy and helping him brush his teeth. My daughter didnt like the flossing part but she still did it as the hygienist was quick and she didnt like the fluoride paste either but the hygienist quickly wiped it away after she used the tool to put it on.
Dr Lee was also very quick with the exam so that my daughter didnt have to feel too uncomfortable too long. She was very friendly. as well.
All in all a good experience.

Amazing staff! From the receptionist to the techs to Dr. Lee.. My commute to the office is kind of lengthy but it’s justified coming to a great pediatric office.

Doctor Lee is the best! She was very kind yet moved swiftly enough to keep up with a 4 yr olds short attention span. The technician was extremely friendly as well and made my son feel very at ease in what could’ve been a very intimidating situation for him. Dr Lee was thorough and addressed all of my questions and concerns and I left feeling confident about my sons dental health and progress.
The office is very modern, equipped with bright and welcoming children’s decor, as well as iPads and lots of kids books about the dentist. The front desk secretary was kind and moved quickly to check us in, so we were seen right on time.
We just moved to NY from DC and I was certain that I would have to try a bunch of pediatric dentist for my son before we found the right one but we got it right on the first try! We will definitely continue being patients of Dr Lee after this amazing first visit!

This was the first dentist appointment for our daughter, who is almost 2. Dr. Lee was very warm, patient, and helpful to us and to our daughter. Dr Lee is absolutely amazing!! My daughter was terrified of seeing the dentist and after a bad experience in the past her fear only grew, but Dr Lee and her assistants made her so comfortable! My daughter had to have A LOT of work done, however she always walked out with a smile on her face! Dr Lee is amazing! Everyone is always so kind, caring and very professional as well as knowledgeable! This location is always so clean and very kid friendly! I always ask if she works on adults as well!

Dr. Lee was awesome! This was my 2-yr old daughter's first visit to the dentist. I wasn't sure how she would react (especially given that at her 18 mo doctor check-up she was hysterical from remembering previous visits). But my daughter was so calm the entire time. Dr. Lee was so cheery and pleasant, which put my daughter at ease, and Dr. Lee's office was well-equipped for kids (TV! stickers!). I highly recommend!

For my son's first dental visit Dr. Lee made it go extremely well, better than my expectations. The nurses are also wonderful. They all made my 3 year old feel very comfortable, and let him play with a "treasure chest" of toys while we went over his care plan. The office has a beautiful waiting room with tablets for the kids to play with during the brief waiting time. I'm very happy to have found this dental office!

We had met Dr. Lee before, I'm so happy to find out she set up such a wonderful office. The office itself is very clean, modern, and spacious. I cannot think of a better dental office for my kids.

My 5.5 year old son has gotten extensive work done at Empire Pediatrics and it is always a good experience with Dr. Chang. He has a great rapport with children. The office is really kid friendly overall. The work done is of high quality and my son has never complained of any pain or issues after multiple crowns and fillings. Highly recommend!

We are from outside Manhattan and it was incredibly difficult to schedule a dentist appointment during Covid. Scheduling on ZocDoc and filling out forms electronically made the process very easy. Our visit was pleasant, excellent bedside manner and child-friendly; definitely worth the trip. The kids were smiling at the end of their visit. Looking forward to our next one!

Great dentist. It was my son’s first time to the dentist and everyone there helped him feel st ease. Everyone was kind, the office was clean and decorated nicely. My son especially enjoyed watching tv in the exam room while his teeth were cleaned/examined. He was also a big fan of the tablets and bouncy seats in waiting area. Overall, I’m satisfied and will be back.

I brought my 5 year old (almost 6) daughter for her 6 month check-up. My daughter was actually happy about going to her dental appointment and woke up early on the day of the appointment. Everything went smoothly. Almost no wait time at all. Dr. Chang and his assistant were professional. Doctor spent time explaining how to help my daughter maintain healthy teeth. Clean, modern and kid-friendly office. There are many pediatric dentists closer to me in my area, but I go out of my way for my daughter to be under this dental practice's care. Highly recommend.

Highly recommend to others. First visit to the dentist for my 5 year old and it was awesome. The office staff and Dr. Chang were amazing. Very brief wait time - less than 10 minutes. Modern, clean and kid friendly office. Staff is kind, efficient, responsive and knowledgable about insurance. Dr. Chang is a great listener, addresses all issues and takes the time to explain. I drove close to an hour for my daughter just to go to this dental office and it was totally worth it. My daughter requested to go back to see Dr. Chang again.

I had a very good experience at this dental office. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. The dentist communicated clearly and calmly with me regarding my son’s procedure. He is seven and had to get an extraction. They numbed the area very well and made sure he didn’t have any pain. The dentist bedside manner with him was excellent. I would highly recommend.
