At Equinox, I specialize in treating trauma survivors. I have extensive experience working with first responders, medical professionals, victims of domestic violence, and surviving family members of individuals who have died by suicide/homicide. I utilize a variety of different therapy techniques to help my clients find better balance & healthier relationships throughout their life. As such, I push my clients to realize the patterns preventing them from achieving the life they desire and follow through on a plan to change them. Outside of seeing clients, I work diligently to expand mental health treatment and education for first responders. I have provided trainings to first responder agencies in the areas of mental health basics, trauma-informed policing, crisis intervention/de-escalation, and first responder mental health. There is a lack of adequate mental health care for those who give so much and my ultimate goal is to promote a shift in this system.
