Eric Neithardt, LCSW PLLC

I provide evidence-based, compassionate psychotherapy for adolescents, adults, and families. My approach is practical, collaborative, and grounded in both clinical expertise and real-world experience. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with an MBA and extensive experience as a school social worker, graduate instructor, and school administrator, I understand the intersection of emotional health, family systems, education, and organizational stress. I work with clients in a way that is structured, goal-oriented, and deeply respectful of individual strengths and values. Therapy should be both supportive and effective. Clients deserve: A safe, nonjudgmental environment Clear goals and direction Practical tools they can use immediately A therapist who balances empathy with honest feedback I believe meaningful change happens when insight is paired with action. Depending on your needs, I integrate: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) To identify and shift unhelpful thinking patterns that drive anxiety, depression, and stress. Solution-Focused Therapy To build momentum quickly by identifying strengths and actionable steps forward. Strengths-Based & Resilience-Focused Work To help clients recognize what is already working and expand it. Family Systems Perspective Particularly helpful when working with children, adolescents, and parents. Executive Function & Skills Coaching For clients struggling with ADHD, organization, time management, or follow-through. Anxiety & Emotional Regulation Strategies Structured tools to reduce overwhelm and build emotional flexibility. Areas of Focus: Anxiety disorders School-related stress and academic struggles ADHD and executive functioning challenges Parenting support and family dynamics Emotional regulation for adolescents Life transitions Stress and burnout With younger clients, therapy is engaging, structured, and skill-based. I focus on: Building emotional vocabulary Teaching practical coping tools Strengthening executive functioning skills Helping parents implement strategies at home I collaborate closely with families and, when appropriate, schools, to create consistency and measurable progress. With adults, therapy is direct, thoughtful, and goal-oriented. Many of my adult clients are professionals, parents, educators, or individuals managing high levels of responsibility. I help clients: Reduce anxiety and overthinking Improve boundaries and communication Increase confidence in decision-making Develop practical strategies for stress management 1. Clinical + Educational Leadership Background My experience in public schools and leadership roles allows me to uniquely understand academic systems, special education processes, and family-school dynamics. 2. Structured and Results-Oriented Sessions often include clear takeaways, strategies, or tools you can apply between appointments. 3. Warm but Direct Style Clients often describe me as supportive, practical, and straightforward. 4. Experience with Neurodivergent Individuals I have extensive experience supporting children and families navigating ADHD, anxiety, and executive functioning challenges. 5. Respect for Personal and Cultural Values For families who value faith or spirituality, those beliefs can be integrated respectfully into the therapeutic process. What You Can Expect: A thoughtful initial evaluation Clear treatment goals Collaborative planning Regular review of progress A balance of validation and skill-building Therapy is an investment in long-term emotional health. My goal is to help you build sustainable tools—not just temporary relief.
