Eric Ratinetz, LCSW, MBA
I am a licensed clinical social worker and psychotherapist with over 30 years of experience treating people coping with life changes. These include issues around relationships, loss, loneliness, parenting, divorce, job change, caring for a loved one, chronic illness, and sleep disorders. I work with clients to guide them in identifying new purpose, managing anxieties and depression, and in service of them achieving personal balance.
My approach is addressing emotional, social, and spiritual needs through utilization of CBT and positive psychology. For those interested I also offer a therapeutic modality called Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP). This can be used as a complement to psychotherapy. My style is supportive, focused and interactive. My manner is straightforward, engaged, and when appropriate, humorous.
It's not always easy to ask for help and I work with individuals in an understanding way to gain their trust and help them to maximize the therapeutic experience. Psychotherapy is effective when it focuses not only on developing self-awareness, but also when using that awareness to make positive real-world improvements. Participating in therapy can help you to establish a sense of control over the course of your life, even in the face of the most daunting circumstances.
