We understand that you are not living your best life possible unless your mind and body are completely healthy. That's why we take a holistic approach to preventing and reversing disease. The goal of acupuncture is to promote and restore the balance of our body. Hundreds of clinical studies showed acupuncture successfully treats a variety of conditions such as fatigue, emotional disorders (anxiety, depression), digestive complaints (Nausea, vomiting, irritable bowel syndrome), migraine headache, pain and infertility.
MEDICAL APPOINTMENT CANCELLATION/NO SHOW POLICY
Any new patient who fails to show for their initial visit will not be rescheduled.
We ask that you please reschedule or cancel at least 1 day before the beginning of your appointment or you may be charged a cancellation fee of $35.00.

A Lifesaver! I tweaked my back while visiting family for the holidays in Seattle and was in so much pain I could barely walk. Dr. Zhang got me in on Christmas Eve, and was able to figure out what was wrong and significantly reduce the pain in the first session, and then get rid of it fully in the second session a couple days later. She was incredibly patient and kind, and saved my Christmas. Highly recommend.

Dr. Zhang is amazing! She genuinely cares about how I am doing and what’s going on in my life. She often takes extra time trying to remove the knots in my shoulders. I always feel 1,000% better after sessions with her! Highly recommend her!

I had a really positive experience at Essence! Dr. Zhang was patient with me even when it took me a little longer to find the office (I had parked on Level 2 and didn't realize I needed to take the stairs downstairs). The office is located on a really peaceful spot that overlooks the lake and Dr. Zhang was patient even though I was anxious about the prospect of needles/a new experience. She was kind and thoughtful and explained everything she was doing and why she was doing it, even humoring me and explaining the theories behind why Acupuncture works/showing me a channels diagram/explaining the fascial perspective vs. the gateway channel of pain perspective. I was a biker hit by a car 6 months ago and am still between surgeries and dealing with chronic pain as well as anxiety and migraines. She used acupuncture points to help me treat all three of these and was super attentive and did not belittle me or make me feel bad for being so highly sensitive. I can't wait for my next session.

First visit went well. Dr. Ying was waiting for me when I arrived and I was accommodated quickly. She listened to my concerns and went to address them. Her bedside manner was great as well. I felt relaxed and really comfortable during the treatment. I am glad I went to her for my issues.
