Eve Root, PhD
I am a licensed psychologist based in St. Louis, MO who works with clients collaboratively on goals related to relationships, identity, sexuality/intimacy, life transitions, grief/loss, mood disorders, trauma, and coping with life’s stressors. I serve individuals 18 and older with an emphasis on middle aged and older adults. I am currently accepting new patients.
I have completed comprehensive training in several evidence-based treatments including Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
In my practice, I work to develop a culturally informed and intersectional practice dedicated to challenging systems of oppression and facilitating an environment of safety and trust. I'm passionate about exploring the intersection of identity and emotional vulnerability as we age and grow.
