I was able to make an appointment online. I arrived and was seen within 10 minutes. Staff, Nurses and Doctor were all very attentive and caring. I've been going to excel for several years and have never had any issues.
By the way, their new location on I-10 West is great!

I don’t find zocdoc is any different from calling the office or walk-in.
My insurance and drivers license information that I have send online apparently is not in there. I have to give my insurance card, drivers license again at office.
Front desk staff is friendly but I don’t see the zocdoc helps them or maybe did not train them enough about availability of information.

Dr. Hekerem is an AMAZING Doctor!!! He listens and cares about his patients:) The staff was wonderful from the front office to the back; the rooms were very clean as well.

While the online enrollment was a bit too much, by doing it at home, the office experience was one of the easiest visits I ever had. The whole team was very professional and pleasant. I would absolutely use them again should the need arise.

It was great that they were able to see me right away. The doctor seemed caring, thorough, and friendly. They did a strep test, flu test and COVID test. The COVID test came back positive. The doctor did not prescribe nor recommend any medication to alleviate my COVID symptoms. I had to message my PCP (not at Excel Urgent Care) and he worked me in later in the day. My PCP prescribed me Paxlovid for COVID symptoms and a cough medicine. I ended up having to pay 2 co-pays in the same day. Next time I'll just go straight to my PCP instead.

There are numerous reasons why we've chosen Excel UC for years. They truly are exceptional. From the front desk to the examination room, everyone provides top-notch service. Today, we had our first visit with Dr. Ogunro, and it was nothing short of impressive. She hit a home run for the team. Beyond her outstanding medical advice, her bedside manner was spot-on. She knew exactly how to communicate with my 12-year-old and address our needs as a family effectively. We cannot say enough positive words to convey our gratitude about our whole experience with her and the staff at Excel. When you have a sick kid, there’s nothing more important than being able to feel confident about their care.

They were nice. However I only had my Plan G insurance card with me because I recently misplaced my Medicare card. They wouldn’t see me before I obtained the number for them and the only reason I was able to obtain that number was because my doctors office happens to be open on Sunday and I called them who graciously gave me the number. I just had a broken little finger~ wondering if they would have treated me the same way if I had come in for chest pains ~ I would have been dead if I had and they wouldn’t see me.
