The nurse and the doctor were very professional with great bed manors. However, at the end of the visit, after the doctor advise me, I will need cataract surgery, I was told by the surgical coordinator that the doctor does not perform "basic cataract surgeries" (covered by insurance) only the surgeries with the lenses with high out of packet cost.

The office was bright and cleaned, there was lots of staff in receptionist area, all with happy smiles, I was immediately greeted by the staff and they simultaneously attended to me. Brought in the back right away and had my first series of pre-exams by the doctors Tech. Met Dr Heimmel, great bedside manor. Explained my concerns and he listened very carefully without the lectures most "old school" doctors would do. He did a thorough examination and explained my situation without causing me panic. Wrote a referral prescription and sent me to the ER to get checked. Long story short, I had a small stroke and was admitted to hospital right away to be treated. This doctor was ahead of his game and without causing panic, most likely saved me from something worse. I will forever be grateful to him. I would highly recommend this physician and his staff.

Dr. Heimmel is wonderful. He is kind and empathetic and very knowledgeable and offers multiple treatments when appropriate and explains benefits and risks. His office staff are all so sweet and helpful and seem genuinely happy to be working there. I don't know her name, but the young lady at the front desk is a doll. I drive over an hour to get there and its completely worth it. I most likely will require plastic surgery for my condition and Dr. Heimmel's staff provided me with a couple suggestions for surgeons and one of them happens to be in the office right downstairs. I was able to just walk in their office and make an appointment for a consult - super convenient. I would recommend Dr. Heimmel without any hesitation.

This was my first time here and I have to say that it was a great experience. The staff was super friendly, they accepted my insurance, the check in process for new patients was so fast. The doctor was really nice, he explained me everything in detail, he listened to all my questions and answered all of them very clear. I recommend this doctor to everyone :)

I went for an annual eye checkup and experienced that Dr. spends proper time with the patient for detailed examination. Even the staff is very nice. however, an important thing that I came across is $65 extra money for the glass prescription. As per federal law, this extra fees must not be charged.

Best specialist I have seen in years. no waiting. plenty of attention and detailed advice, and a wonderful staff. other doctor's offices should go there for seminars on how to care for patients. I was starting to think it was a lost art.
