I was very impressed by the number and quality of my eye examinations even before the doctor saw me. She was efficient and thorough. Best of all, she explained what the problem was, the possible remedy, and my options.

Generally a good office & appointment experience. I saw 2 technicians for various tests and scans before seeing Dr. Fischer briefly, who was great. However, I was disappointed to learn after my appointment had ended that apparently an ophthalmologist can prescribe glasses but not contacts? This was unclear to me until I requested my prescription during checkout. When I asked about it, the front desk technician acted like I was stupid for being confused and offered no solutions. I'm still not sure if I need to go through a separate appointment with an optometrist, whether there is an optometrist in this practice I can see, or whether I'm on my own to find yet another healthcare provider. Disappointed at the lack of clarity and lack of next steps suggested by front desk staff.

The doctor was excellent. The office staff's follow-up was poor. When I called about buying contacts, there was no pick-up. When I called the office itself, I waited 13 minutes. No one picked up after 13 minutes on hold so I hung up. This is unacceptable.
