This was my first visit with Dr. Samala Khan and I had an amazing experience. The office staff was very friendly with getting me setup before the doctor came. When running through my annual exam and updating my prescription Dr. Khan was very thorough and kind. She was continuously checking in on how my new prescription felt and even had me walk around to make sure they weren't too strong since she wanted to try a new stronger prescription.
After the appointment Stephanie Figueroa helped me with check out and helped me get the most of my insurance so I only paid for the co-pay. She explained that my past eye doctor's were not billing my insurance correctly so I was pay a lot more for my exam and my contacts. I'm so grateful to have found this office and highly recommend for anyone looking for a new eye doctor's office!
Also there was a LQBTQIA+ pride flag on the welcome desk showing this is a safe space which I really appreciated ??

I was way overdue for an eye exam, and was in need of a new doctor as mine had retired. Through Zocdoc I found Dr Khan nearby, and was able to get in to see her quickly. I received a thorough examination, and was put at ease by her warm and professional manner. I knew i was in excellent hands, She explained everything, and was open to answer any questions I had.
Jamie F. then assisted me with choosing frames for new eyeglasses. He too is a consumate professional.
I am so grateful to have found Dr Samala Khan and her staff, and recommend her wholeheartedly.

So easy to make this emergency appointment. Dr. Khan was so kind and thorough; she was able to understand my situation (scratched cornea) and really calm me down and explain the situation/prescribe the right medicine. I am so glad I found her and would go back any time I needed to.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Once paper work was completed, it was only a few minutes before I was seen. Spoke with the doctor about my issue. She was very attentive and once we determined the issue, she was quick to assist in setting up an appointment with another physician for the appropriate care. 10/10 will recommend to friends and family.

I recently accompanied my son to this practice and found the visit to be a mixed experience. The provider was knowledgeable and thorough, and we appreciated her clinical expertise in addressing our concerns. However, for a first-time visit, her bedside manner felt distant and not as warm or engaging as we would have preferred, particularly for a patient-facing interaction. Overall, we value the quality of care provided, but a more personable approach would greatly enhance the experience.

I had a great experience at my recent eye doctor visit. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and check-in was quick and smooth. My appointment with Jacalyn Ely went wonderfully. She examined my eyes, explained that I had been wearing the wrong contacts and that my prescription was off, and then provided the correct prescription. She explained everything thoroughly in a clear, concise way that was easy to understand. I’m already looking forward to my follow-up appointment. Highly recommend!

As a new patient, everyone within the practice met all my expectations. Extremely friendly Dr. Eloy was thorough and asked many questions. She explained to me various options to improve my vision. All the reviews I read were on point to to what I was looking for with a new OD.

This Doctor is BRILLIANT ~I have worn glasses and contacts since middle school but recently developed some serious eye issues and I'm seeing an Opthamologist for that needed a really good Optometrist to prescribe a new pair of glasses and lenses. I was able to get high end designer frames from her office and new lenses to try. The entire staff is LOVELY from front desk to technician to frame department. I am so glad I found her!

Dr. Jacalyn Ely was incredibly pleasant and informative about the services available during a routine eye exam. However, she did not appear to be well-versed in HIPAA policy, as she intentionally showed me retinal images of another patient—including personally identifiable information (PII) and protected health information (PHI)—in an attempt to persuade me to consent to a paid service that I previously denied multiple times. While she removed the images immediately after I expressed concern, the incident left me wary of the practice’s ability to safeguard patients’ sensitive information.
