Fab Dental
Dr. Alag comes from a family of doctors. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from New York University College of Dentistry where she graduated with Honors in Prosthodontics. She is focused on providing personalized care while utilizing advanced technology and innovative procedures to create the most comfortable patient experience. She gets immense pleasure from improving patients’ smiles and giving them the confidence they need. She was fortunate to be given an opportunity for social and community service by providing dental care to deprived and poor and delinquent children, and by spreading oral health awareness amongst the uneducated masses.
She has staged “Health Talks” on various topics like oral cancer, effects of tobacco chewing, brushing techniques, and taboos in dentistry. She has also worked for the National Pulse Polio Immunization Program for five years when she was in India. She keeps herself updated through continuing education courses. Dr. Alag is also credentialed by AGD, CDA and ADA. She was awarded a Fellowship in Implantology by the International Dental Implant Association in 2018. Dr. Alag moved to California with her husband in 2016 and has been practicing in the Bay Area since then. She loves traveling, biking and swimming in her spare time.

I liked the dentist at first I told her about my broken tooth that it needs to be permanent fill. I came with my newborn and I had someone to look after my 18months old toddler at home. She did a root canal right away even my answer to her questions was no, like does it hurt? Or stink? Anyway she recommended me to include my broken tooth to the fix bridge which is fine but I didn’t like that she didn’t fill the tooth fully :( (i requested a permanent fill) as she’s expecting me to go back to her for the full set of fix bridge.

I went in for a clean and braces removal/ braces treatment. (New services) . I feel I should’ve been told prior to arranging an appointment with Fab Dental that I would need clearance from my prior dental office in order to remove old set of braces. Clearance can be done by a phone call or a form to be picked up from the previous dental office. Had I known this, I would’ve arranged this and had this in order prior to my visit. I was not informed sadly and was only able to leave with a cleaning. I feel this could’ve been communicated and even cleared on their end prior to my appointment date had they properly communicated and understood the needs of the visit. My old set was under a different insurance company from years ago with a different office and I am now under a new insurance company and financially able to cover my expense. It was slightly disappointing being though as if my schedule is extremely tight.

Prior to this I've always had dentists who try to upsell me many things, like they would say i need multiple fillings, redo my root canal, etc. etc. and try to pressure me. That was a while ago. I never got those fillings or root canal redone. After my first checkup here, Dr. Alag didn't mention any of that BS. She only recommended other things that were more important, and even so, she just gave me the information and let me make the decision without any pressure. It was a refreshing change for me. The whole experience was nice (nice staff, environment, netflix, etc. etc.) but this was probably the biggest thing that made me feel like they are trustworthy and want to come back to Fab Dental again.

Location - Always plenty of parking at the plaza. Very clean office, bathrooms, well organized dental rooms and sterilized instruments. They also have TVs on the wall, which is nice to have when you lay down for a cleaning or procedure.
Dentist - Excellent bedside manner. Respectful and methodical in communicating what treatments I needed. Her assistants were always fantastic and kind. They also took pictures and xrays to show me areas of my teeth to help me better understand.
Hugenist - Did an excellent job on my teeth! She was nice, gave helpful tips, and was gentle too. She was quite thorough and efficient. I would go back to her again.
Front desk - Probably one of my favorite parts about this place. They are polite, effective, and efficient! They have good communication with the back so that my appointments went smoothly. I appreciated how accommodating they were to requests I've made.
Overall, this is an excellent practice and I'm happy to have made it my dental office.

I knew going in that my insurance wasn't applicable. They showed great kindness and patience about my financial realities. If I ever have another emergency requiring me to go out-of-pocket, I will definitely return to these guys. They also did a great job, were really nice, and had a really nice office. Dr. Alag and her Fab Dental team are the best of the best. I had my first dentist appointment in a few years (since I started a new job after a period of unemployment) and Dr. Alag’s team was so kind to me. The cleaning was super easy, and you get to watch a TV on the ceiling, and you can choose any channel (Netflix, other tv apps, etc). And then I got a small filling, which was also really easy and quick. All the staff were cheerful and nice to talk to. The reception people were also great, and explained how they make calls to insurance providers for me, and make sure they are covering everything possible. I appreciate that very much because insurance providers are so hard to navigate. Thank you so much Dr. Alag! What a fabulous, modern, big dentist office you have! I will recommend to anyone needing dentist services!!!

My experience was great. Nice, friendly staff at the front desk got me in as soon as I had arrived. The office/lab was clean and very well organized. The hygienist that cleaned my teeth was gentle and thorough. It probably wasn’t easy since it had been many years since my last checkup or cleaning, she did an excellent job! Afterwards I met with Dr. Guneet Alag, whom gave me a further inspection and was tremendously informative and kind. Overall my experience was extremely positive and I will be returning for my next check up.

Dr. Guneet was efficient and effective. She got down to the diagnosis root cause in a couple of mins, clearly explained it to me with images and X-rays, suggested the right treatment, worked the treatment into her schedule the same day and gave me other supportive care instructions. Also ram my claims and insurance and found a way to file it such that o have zero out of pocket. The hygienist and office staff were also very efficient. One thing that was off, the prescription was sent to a CVS that was not the one I requested, probably because I wasn’t clear with the address of the location. Minor thing, easily resolved. Though she was 20 miles from home, I’m going back.

I’m new to the area and I have not found a dentist since I got here. I was actually terrified of finding a new dentist. I love this place. I lost my earrings and four staff members help me look for it. They gave me accurate pricing in the exam room instead of giving me a sticker shock at the front desk check out. They didn’t pressure me to take more services then I need it immediately. They were kind, welcoming, warm, and understanding. 10 out of 10 would strongly recommend. ?

Well, it is a little early to be giving Kudo's out as a "New" patient I was in for a Cleaning and a Consultation. I can say without reservation the Tech used in the Cleaning and the Hygienist were Exceptional. The Newer lower frequency water jet cleaner was so comfortable I could have slept through it had I the ability to keep my mouth open while sleeping. Dr. Guneet is through and has it appears State of the Art Diagnostic and Dental Facilities. We will be discussing on going long term work.
