My first vist went smooth. Initial diagnosis was to first get an xray, so that I could get an MRI. The xray happened an hour or so later at the place about 10 blocks away on Broadway. Next week is my follow up. We shall see how it goes. Funny how everyone on earth is asked to write reviews!

This was a very disappointing visit. The office was dirty and there were not enough chairs for people to wait comfortably in the waiting room. The doctor’s dog was allowed to walk around the entire office unaccompanied; neither the doctor nor her staff asked if anyone was allergic or afraid of dogs, let alone acknowledged that an animal walking around a medical facility is inappropriate. Of greatest concern, the doctor very poorly communicated what was going to happen during a medical procedure involving our child and our child experienced severe pain during the procedure when that was not what was said was to be expected. The doctor casually asked us to put gauze on our child’s wound and seemed both surprised and unbothered when we pointed out he was bleeding when, again, we were told it would be a non-invasive procedure.

Dr. Rottenberg is exactly what you want in a doctor. Smart, knowledgeable, experienced, friendly and efficient. I came to the office thinking I had a plantar's wart (as so I was told by a friend who is a dermatologist). In fact it was something entirely different and she knew it and explained it to me in a NY minute. That comes from experience. She treated me on the spot and the pain went away instantly. Just from looking at my feet she was able to also tell that one leg is longer than the other and that foot is also larger than the other and pronates to the left. Bingo! It was my first visit but I will definitely be back to get custom foot orthotics from her. The lesson here folks -- when something is wrong with your feet -- go to Dr. Rottenberg. Luckily I did!

The staff is very helpful, kind, and patient.
The doctor is a true, hands-on doctor not sitting there talking to you but looking at the computeri. She exams the feet, shows you what to do, and gives you homework to do for your feet, and we have more to do the next visit. That's a doctor!

Very knowledgable, straight to the point. I really appreciated her time and expertise. She also asked me how I say my first and last names, which is important to me. (I noticed she did this with the patient in front of me as well.) It's those little details that often make the biggest difference.

Doctor not nice. She seemed bothered because I only had calluses, which were causing me pain, and she didn’t even fix the one on my left foot. She told me to go to a pedicure. I’ll never go back

The doctor was lovely and her receptionist/assistant was also great. The office is being renovated so we met in a temp office - which was a lot of boxes and a little hard to find. I would definitely see her again but would wait until she is back in her renovated space.

First off, I’ll go back, second; I was helped with more than the one problem I’m dealing with. Everything was explained an that’s rare in previous medical Drs I’ve seen.
