How I wish I had come to this practice first, what a difference from my experience about 4 months ago with a different practice. Front tooth chipped, got it fixed at another practice, fell off within 3 months. Mayya did an excellent job with the front filing, and it looks so much better than it did the first time. Main dentist was late so I got the secondary dentist, Maya/Mia, and honestly liked them a lot more. The dentist that owns the practice is very cold & short with the way they speak. They had some newbies doing the x-rays (was working with someone more experienced) and the dental impressions for a mouth guard (was solo & eventually had to get the experienced tech).

I don’t think this office is a good fit for someone with high dental anxiety. The team and doctor are professional and do quality work, but communication and bedside manner can be vastly improved.

Dr. Fainberg and his staff were so wonderful and understanding. I was nervous to go to the dentist (as most of us are), but they were kind, patient, and made me experience much more comfortable than I had expected. This is the first dentist I have seen since moving to Denver from a small town where I had the same dentist most of my life. I would highly recommend Fainberg Dental Center to anyone and everyone with all abilities.

I was curious why several staff members looked absolutely miserable until I interacted with Dr. Fainberg. His bedside manner is horrific. If this is how he speaks to paying customers, I can’t imagine how he speaks to his staff. Perhaps I will floss more, but I know for a fact I will not be spending another dime with this provider.

Who loves to go to the dentist? No one! But this practice changes the whole traditional experience of a dental appointment. My cleaning was the most comfortable and swiftest procedure that I have ever had. Dr. Feinburg communicates to me in a caring, informative, and no-pressure manner. He immediately tells you what any decision will cost and patiently answers all questions. I am 71 and have had numerous oral surgeries, implants, crowns, and emergency procedures- like broken posts in root canals. I speak from years of sitting in the dental chair! This is a practice that I will recmend to everyone I know.

Got my first cleaning here. Everyone was super friendly. No wait time & open availability. The many appt reminders are pretty helpful for someone like me. Dr. Fainberg was able to explain and elucidate some past and possible future issues. The dental hygienist was extremely personable. He made sure I knew what he he was doing & why and even doubled check to make sure I was okay throughout the process. He was really insightful & knowledgeable too.

Care was thorough. First impression wasn’t ideal as their paperwork seemed aggressive (they ask you if they can pull your credit and spend a lot of time talking about collections and attorney’s fees). They include an acknowledgment document about their privacy policy, but don’t include the policy. When I asked for a copy, they seemed irritated and surprised I would want that information. The amount due after insurance (and solidly at the time of service) is where this office really excels. I had a computer screen with a spreadsheet in my face with the payment breakdown while I was in the dental chair.
If you are tired of being confused by what insurance will pay and cryptic cost information, you will appreciate their transparency. I definitely felt like a cog in the machine, and at times, an inconvenience to the staff. The front desk interrupted my time with Dr. Fainberg three times in my ten to fifteen minute appointment with him to talk to him about other patients.

Although the dentist, hygienist, and staff were nice, the dental assistant took 20 minutes to do my X-rays. The hygienist could not differentiate an occlusal, so the dental assistant corrected her. The hygienist immediately upsold a fluoride treatment and framed it in a manner as if it was going to be done without asking me if I wanted the treatment. When I stopped to ask if the fluoride treatment is covered under my insurance, she said, "No, but it doesn't cost that much." So, if a patient is unaware of what is happening, they will get a fluoride treatment without their permission and will be stuck with a bill. I got the treatment because I wanted it.
After my cleaning, I waited 15 minutes before the dentist saw me. He took so long that the hygienist had to move me from one examining room to another. When the dentist finally arrived, he smelled like cigarette smoke.
Again, the dentist, staff, and hygienist were nice, but I will look for another dentist and not return.

Friendly staff. Was not given a clear explanation of what the charges were nor did I receive a detail receipt of charges. Dentist came in after hygienist finished. Spent 3 minutes with me. Felt it was just a courtesy and had no interest nor offer any solutions to current dental issues. Provider out of network and will not return

Awesome hygienist Tim! Double booked so waited 20 min but communication was clear and kind. Dr. F was warm and knowledgeable and was very open when I couldn’t understand his accent and had to ask. Insurance took a while to get cleared, and x rays took a while due to training, so don’t go in a hurry but you will be well taken care of here!

It took over 30 minutes for the UNMASKED person to get my X-rays. She had to retake so many that she ended up cutting my mouth with the instrument bc it was inserted and moved around so many times.
Aside from being unmasked, which made me so uncomfortable, when it was brought up I was met with hostility “why, are YOU not vaccinated?”, which is totally besides the point.
The hygienist only took 20 minutes to clean my teeth, and during that time she pushed her hands down on my bottom lip which lead to my lip being cut by my teeth.
Finally I waited for over 30 minutes for the dentist to come in. After staring at the ripped carpet and stained ceiling I was just about to get up and walk out when he finally came in.
After crying two different times during my visit bc of how awful they were, I decided I would never go back. My advice, Do not go here! They’re awful and don’t wear masks!!
