The entire office was very personable and made sure I knew exactly what they were doing, why they were doing it and reassuring me that it was covered by my insurance. It's so refreshing to have an openly gay physician. Dr. Ancizar Gonzalez was kind and understanding and all of his staff were friendly and approachable. I'm excited with my healthcare journey with them.

I had a great experience at the doctor’s office. The staff was friendly and welcoming as soon as I walked in. The doctor listened carefully to my concerns, explained everything clearly, and made me feel comfortable the whole time. The office was clean, organized, and the appointment went smoothly without a long wait. Overall, I felt well taken care of and appreciated the kind, professional service.

Unfortunately I do not recommend seeing this service provider. My entire experience was bizarre and unprofessional from beginning to end. It felt like this was the first gynecological exam she or her team had ever done. I needed follow up testing, and was left in the dark exam room with the lights off to change. This is just one example in a series of strange things I experienced.
They also charged me to review my lab results which has never happened to me before. My final appointment was a phone visit. I received a call to be charged for the appointment and was then hung up on by the staff. I finally received a call back 30 minutes later to discuss the results. Tamara was belligerent, she became angry or offended when I asked her questions about my results. I ended the conversation when she began talking over me and saying “THANK YOU” over and over when I tried to give her feedback directly about my experience. Do yourself a favor and find someone who is a professional.

I unfortunately do not have a positive recommendation for Dr. Tamara or the Family Medical Group. Her office was inefficient in communicating me the exact charges for my visit, even after being asked to confirm twice. I’d gone for an annual checkup which included blood, urine tests etc. An assessment on mental health and allergies was included in the form of a simple online survey before even reaching the clinic, yet it was billed to the insurance as a diagnosis. The weirdest part was them submitting claims on my behalf for a date of visit that was not actual and, a Sunday. My recommendation is to find another provider whose office can clearly let you know what the charges are going to be, in advance.

All staff was super attentive and professional. I started the visit with an assistant nurse who was incredible, answered all my questions and guide me through the process.
Tamara is super approachable, she takes the time to answer all your questions and gather as much information as possible.
I had all my test done and I have to be back in 2 weeks to discuss results with her.

Fantastic experience! The doctor (NP Argilagos) took her time and was very prompt. I especially love that they take blood samples in the same office, so no extra trip to somewhere else. Beautiful updated office. Very clean.

I booked this appointment for my yearly pap smear and no one including the doctor understood that or knew that when I came in - had to explain it 4 times to several people. I wanted to talk about birth control options and they didn’t provide me with them. I told them about my seizure meds at the beginning of the appointment and after they told me they would give me birth control, they called me 2 days later saying they couldn’t prescribe me the BC because of my seizure medications. They should have talked to me about that at the very beginning of the appointment. I basically wasted my free appointment and got nothing accomplished. No birth control, no discussion of other options for birth control, and no free STD testing. It was the worst experience for my yearly checkup that i have ever experienced. The ladies were very nice, but that doesn’t mean anything when I wasted my free yearly checkup. Now i am trying to find another doctor in Miami.
