I never saw the doctor because the process to get the appointment did not align with the steps taken. There were ongoing glitches, and I reached out, but no one returned my email or calls. It was a live disaster! There is a load of problems with their lack of communication. One miserable experience.
Asante was great. She listened and asked a lot of questions before she gave me her recommendations. I appreciate her warm manner and she was fun to talk to.
Ms. Brown was so easy to talk to, very understanding, and not judgemental at all with what we discussed. I was very comfortable during the appointment; we set realistic expectations for my lifestyle, and I will slowly build up to more strict things later. Asante was was very nice and personable. It was obvious that she really cared about my issues and was trying to find the best course of action for me. She listened me and tried to find a treatment that would work specifically for me rather than following a one size fits all protocol like most doctors do. She even comped my first consultation visit since she wanted me to get formally diagnosed by a specialist before she put me on any specific treatment, so she didn't want to charge me before she knew whether or not she could help me.

My initial appointment with Dr. Asante Brown was to be via Zoom; however, there were technical difficulties involving the sound and it was switched to a telephone conference. I immediately made a call to Dr. Brown, and the conference began. During the call, I answered the questions she presented, and she relayed a synopsis of my answers to me. Dr. Brown was very engaging, and she is an excellent listener. At the end of the call, she summarized our conversation and made several recommendations that I intend to follow. I look forward to our next meeting.
