Feel August (the practice formerly known as Artful Living Psychiatry & Wellness) provides modern, evidence-based psychiatric care for adults across California, with most new patients seen within two days.
First visits are a full sixty minutes, time for a real evaluation. And you see the same clinician at every visit going forward: 98 out of 100 of our patients stay with their first clinician. Our board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioners (PMHNP-BC) are licensed in California with full prescribing authority.
We treat anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, PTSD, bipolar disorder, insomnia, panic disorder, and postpartum mood and anxiety concerns. Care is delivered entirely through secure video, so you can be seen from home, work, or anywhere private in California.
Our approach is careful and collaborative. We make clear diagnoses, explain the reasoning behind every prescribing decision, and scrutinize your whole medication regimen rather than just adding to it. We track your progress with validated measures at every visit, so you and your clinician can see whether treatment is working.
Most patients pay a $20–$50 co-pay with in-network plans, including Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross, Cigna, United Healthcare, Oscar, and others. We verify your specific plan within 24 hours of booking. Self-pay is $400 for a first visit.
