I was dubious about the effectiveness of EMDR ahead of our sessions. She took an immense amount of time to support my understanding the neuroscience before we began. Her compassion for me as a person was touching and it was apparent from the very beginning she cares deeply about her work. I felt as though I could feel really big emotions in her presence and be okay. I felt like I didn’t have to worry about how she was going to react to my feelings.
