The doctor literally spent no more than 5 minutes with me, repeatedly saying everything is going to be alright, even though I've been in pain for over three weeks. He also made jokes that I thought were inappropriate, joking about some diseases and illnesses I don't have, according to his 5 minute consultation with me.
Dr. Grotas was Highly professional, with great bedside manner and just generally an upbeat attitude. He took time to answer all of my concerns and was great about explaining everything in terms that I was able to understand. The wait time was completely reasonable the office was immaculate and the nurses were very friendly and kind. Would definitely recommend Dr. Grotas to a friend.
The office called me the day prior to let me know there would be delays in service, which was very helpful in planning the rest of my day. I was ready to wait, and didn't mind that my 9:20 appointment was pushed back. This was for a follow-up appointment for a vasectomy. Things I should have been told before the appointment: - the office would not be collecting a post-operation semen sample. -collection and drop off are handled by a separate facility - The note I needed from my doctor could have simply been mailed to me. I lost a day at work to be told to set up an appointment on my own with a separate facility. Dr. Grotas' office could have alerted me prior to my visit or even set up the semen collection appointment instead of wasting a trip.
