I think this is the first review I've ever left on anything. He was fantastic. The office staff was fantastic. I felt like he was talking to me person-to-person instead of a just a patient or set of teeth. I could not recommend him more strongly.

Hi. If this rating were based on the woman at the front desk, it would be much higher. She is friendly and goes beyond to help. The dental hygienist is also super lovely but not well organized or prepared. The actual room was pretty shabby. The hygienist told me of two items that were not working properly (one was worn out and the other not working well). I would not recommend this dentist. I'm sure he's not a bad guy and has a good amount of knowledge for his practice. However, it's important to me to feel heard and not get an upsell approach. Maybe I was just sensitive and didn't care for his low-affect personality. If I had wanted my teeth whitened, I would have asked. The first thing that happened was a full-mouth x-ray. That's totally fine but holy moly! I've never experienced that kind of hurt during an x-ray. One of the parts needed for this part was old and no longer holding together properly. Also, during the deep clean (he uses a high pressure water pick) it was a bit too much to handle and the hygienist applied a topical numbing agent to the area. Problem was, the dentist said not to swallow but the saliva wasn't getting suctioned out so of course I did. This dentist is a big guy and left my jaw quite sore after pressing down on my bottom teeth during the cleaning. My overall experience of the visit was that the entire place needs a facelift and a more professional attitude. I really don't want anyone who's going to be touching my mouth to be so disorganized and awkward. Again, super friendly and sweet front office manager and hygienist, but I won't be going back due to my poor overall experience.

There was wait time, he was very careful with my teeth, I had extensive emergency dental work - he was very thorough and even took the time to call me after hours on his personal time to see how I was doing. I recommend him to anyone looking for a new dentist or looking to change their dentist.

He is great!! I havent been in such a long time and he was very patient, reassuring, and gentle. With my insurance, what I ended up paying wasnt to bad, given it was an emergency root canal and temp crown. The place is clean, and everyone working there is very kind. I will be going back, for regular cleanings, and such.. Once this is Virus and stay at home order has been lifted.

X-RAY tech wasn’t that proficient to be honest. He had to retake at least 4 of them. Everyone in the office is super nice however.

Having had bad experiences with dentists, I was hesitant to see Dr. Finley despite the glowing reviews. But, when I sat down in the chair, I found myself relieved because I knew that I was in the hands of considerate, Grade A professionals.
Dr. Finley takes the time to explain all procedures and is incredibly considerate of his patients' anxieties and comfort. During my long procedure, he and his staff checked on me constantly, making sure that I was comfortable. At one point during the procedure, Dr. Finley stopped and told me that he wanted go back and redo something to ensure that it would be better over the long term. His explanation and obvious dedication to his work gave me even more confidence that I was in good hands.
If you're in the market for a high quality, professional dentist, call them immediately!

Friends, Los Angelenos, fellow scared of the dentist adults! Lend me your ears! and then lend Dr. Finley your teeth! To begin, you walk into a quaint office and you meet the lovely Ica, the best front office supervisor/billing extraordinaire. Immediately warming, she gives you her full attention and seems to have all the answers before you could even question. I was a few minutes late because I got a little turned around but the building is easy to find and their is plenty of parking. They were kind about my timing and we immediately went through painless paperwork, insurance copies, etc. I was then shown into my room by the radiant Gina who talked me through the goals for the visit until Ica came in and explained everything I would anticipate on the bill. I was SHOOK friends. I didn't realize that I had been overpaying for my dental work this whole time. Gina walked me through the practical and Ica took me through the logistical and it already had me ready for my forever fear...the actual Dentist. I am grown but I have had some rough dentists work on my mouth and overall fail my needs. I was left with a huge mess to work on and I had no idea if it was even possible. Doctor Finley walked in and even let me play Beyonce during my treatment. He dimmed the lights so I wasn't blinded the entire time. He is so nice and gentle with his treatment, he even call cavities and stains "sugar bugs" and it made me so much less defensive. I got to redo my first dental trauma all over again and now I am excited to get my veneers done with him too! My entire family is going with me to move dentists so we can all experience this Dream Team.
I waited a few weeks after Dr. Finley repaired more teeth than I can count (forever bitter that I didn't see him before my wedding photos) to discuss with you all the healing process as well. I stayed numb well into the evening, it was a late appointment. Dinner was an adventure but by the time I woke up the next morning I had a mild headache, totally expected, but I just stared at my smile with pride for the first time in years. No unexpected soreness or need to shave down any of the sides. He created flawless work that could only be done with someone who genuinely loves seeing beautiful and healthy smiles.
Give your childhood self another fair shot at the dentist, the team at Flossn LA definitely have you coming back for more!

Flossn LA is great! I first went there a few months ago to get a routine cleaning. After browsing several dentists in my area, this one already stood out due to its Yelp reviews. The first visit turned into just an exam, which I had never experienced before, and they took a LOT of X-rays and pictures with a cool little mouth camera. I was feeling a little uncertain, especially when Dr. Finley said it would be best to re-do my childhood fillings because they were shrinking/decaying. But then he showed me the pictures they'd taken moments before - he was totally right!
He is really nice and down to earth, and only gives recommendations based on what's really best for you and your oral health. He and has kind staff helped assure me about everything, and I ended up going back the following week to get the cleaning and the fillings. I had some on every side of my mouth so I was numbed in all four sections at once (!!) but he did a great job. Getting those novocaine/lidocaine shots is the only "scary" part for me, but he made it super chill by telling me to envision drinking on the beach and I barely felt anything. He was just as competent when he did my onlay last week. It felt nice to be able to just lay back and put my full trust in him. I'm glad he told me I needed these things done, and annoyed that my previous dentist didn't. The decay was gross and it could have gotten much worse.
Dr. Finley is definitely the most personable and relatable dentist I've had. Aika and Gina are super sweet too! I hope I'm spelling your names correctly! Thank you for helping make the dentist a little more enjoyable and relaxing.

Dr.Finley and his staff made my experience a very enjoyable one. The whole staff was attentive to my needs and I felt like a close friend more than a just a patient. The services they provide are above any I have experienced and Ica was very knowledgeable about my coverage. Dr. Finley and his staff are awesome! I broke my tooth the afternoon prior to leaving for my Thanksging vacation. He actually waited for me because his office was closing at 1pm....everything needing to be done is explained thoroughly and you are made to feel comfortable throughout the process. Customer service and satisfaction is their priority! I highly recommend this office and will be going back for my dental needs!

Saw Dr. Finley today. He is possibly the coolest, most non-judgmental dentist in the world. And he's completely on top of his game, and knows what he's doing. Fire your dentist and get over there. I have gone to many different dental practitioners and after getting treatment from Dr.Finley and his staff, I realize now that in my past dental history I have been settling for subpar treatment and patient care. I regularly see the dentist (I get a cleaning 2-3 times a year) and I've had a cavity in a hard to reach spot for the past 3 years that was left untreated by my old dentist. She said it was too hard to reach and too close to the bone. Every time I visited her, she would put it off until my next visit. Because it was left untreated. I recently started developing pain and sensitivity. I am not the kind of person to put things off especially when it comes to my health and I was tired of waiting, so I looked up multiple dentist practitioners and I after seeing rave reviews, decided to go to Dr. Finley to get a second opinion. Dr.Finley told me his treatment plan, gave me different options, and right then and there performed the procedure I needed to extract the cavity!!! I went home cavity free!! And pain free too; during the procedure and afterwards too!!! No more sensitivity and pain! I am still shocked!
Dr.Finley was honest, professional, trusting and kind. I agree with another reviewer, Sandra B., when she says that he is providing treatment for your best interest. I truly believe he wants what is best for his patients. But most importantly, he is unlike my past dentist practitioners I've gone to, which is that he doesn't put things off, waiting until the symptoms become unbearable to start treatment.
I would like to add that his staff was suuuuper friendly, kind and efficient. Gina, provided a comforting and relaxing experience for me during the procedure. Ica, the receptionist, was approachable, smiley, and friendly. This was my first time going to a dental office where you can see the staff really enjoyed and took pride in their work. And what was even more shocking, it was a Monday!
By far this was the best experience I've ever had in a dental office. I have never written a review before, but because my experience at this dental office was so positive, especially compared to other dental offices, I felt propelled to write this review.
