Hello, I’m Kimberly G. Galindo, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) serving adolescents, adults, seniors, veterans, and Spanish-speaking individuals throughout California. I specialize in ADHD, anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, mood disorders, and medication management.
I am board-certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and earned my Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University. I provide compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care through comprehensive evaluations, medication management, and supportive therapy. My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where patients feel heard, respected, and actively involved in their care.
With over 20 years of healthcare experience in critical care, behavioral health, leadership, and patient advocacy, I believe in treating the whole person, not just the diagnosis. Together, we will develop a personalized treatment plan to support your mental wellness, resilience, and overall quality of life.
My approach to therapy
My approach to care is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each individual's unique needs. I believe in creating a safe, supportive, and judgment-free space where you feel comfortable sharing your concerns and goals. Together, we will explore the challenges you're facing and develop a personalized treatment plan that may include medication management, supportive therapy, and practical coping strategies. My goal is to help you build resilience, improve emotional well-being, and achieve lasting mental wellness.
What you can expect from me
During our first session, you can expect a welcoming and supportive environment where you can openly discuss your concerns, symptoms, and goals. We will review your mental health and medical history, explore factors affecting your well-being, and complete a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation. Together, we will identify treatment goals and create a personalized plan designed to support your needs. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, understood, and confident about the next steps in your care.
