When I arrived at the office it was closed. No one was there. Made the emergency appointment through zocdoc yesterday morning. When I called the office phone number provided, it connected me to a completely different dental office that wasn’t affiliated with this dental office. I blame zocdoc it’s thoroughly useless.

Just like every other bad experience you’ve ever had with a dentist. The dentist herself did not care one bit about my priorities, and it showed. Her hygienist was spectacular though, and deserves to find a better place of employment.

Very professional and friendly female staff. Excellent at cleanings and monitoring gum and tooth issues as part of the cleaning process. Dr, Gaitsgory ha handled fillings and crowns for me over the past few years. I am very satisfied with the results. In-house insurance plan available for seniors and others who don’t have commercial dental insurance.

I found Dr. Marianna Gaitsgory through Zocdoc as “in-network” for my plan with MetLife, but it turned out that she’s out-of-network, and now I’m getting charged for services that I would not if she was actually in-network as she advertised on Zocdoc and their website.
I scheduled an appointment and provided all my information about my insurance later on the phone. I came in for the 1st appointment on Dec/2nd and, when I was leaving, got told that I had something to pay. I was surprised because I’ve never paid for cleaning and x-Rays, then it’s when I found out that Dr. Marianna Gaitsgory is actually out-of-network, and now not only my annual spending limit went down, but I’m getting charged for services that I would not if they were in-network.
I’ve reached out to Dr. Marianna Gaitsgory office and still have not received an answer around the amount I’m getting charged, nor how we’ll do complete my treatment. Very disappointed.
I would just say to other people here who are looking for an “in-network” dentist to make sure Dr. Marianna Gaitsgory is “in-network” to avoid all the headache I’m having.

I’ve never felt so uncomfortable in my life at a dentist office. It started out pleasant, the dental hygienist was making jokes and calming the mood. Then she comes over with my X-rays and starts shaming my old dentist office for not having digital copies. I was in shock. She proceeds to dampen the mood even further by starting to scold me for not flossing which is obviously something I know I should do, some people just judge without even understanding what you’ve been through. After the doctor checked my teeth she was short and seemed like she was just trying to collect more money by telling me i had “many cavities” never gave me a number, never showed me where. I will not be coming back ever.

Office was not sure if my insurance was accepted, came for a routine cleaning and ended up leaving with just xrays...not sure where there was a disconnect. Office rescheduled me to be seen again within a timely fashion, just not predicted.

I was very pleased with Dr. Gaitsgory's highly professional and skilled resolution of a dental issue that I brought to her on an impromtu basis. Although this was the first time Dr. Gaitsgory had ever seen me, she was able to explain in everyday terms what was responsible for the condition, what my options are for dealing with it, and enough common-sense pros/cons information to help me decide on a course of action. In other words, I went into the visit, completely in the dark and left with a clear understanding of the situation and confident that I know how to deal with it.
