Welcome to the Friends & Family Medical Clinic! I am Doctor Marjan Saba, a board-certified Family Medicine Specialist. I have more than twenty years of experience in the Medical Field, fifteen of which I have been running my own office in Los Angeles. I have practiced medicine in the rural stretches of Iran with minimal medical technology as well as the highest level of advanced care in the heart of Los Angeles at the County General Hospital. My reason for selecting Family Medicine as my specialty was to look at the human being as a whole, as opposed to a composition of body parts. I wanted to manage all of the medical needs of my patients and aid them in their healing process. I believe that mind, body, and spirit are one unit and to treat one is to treat all. I deeply care about all of my patients and take great pleasure in listening and discussing with them. My office is truly like a second home to me and our whole team here at Friends & Family. While in our care, expect to be treated with the warmth and dignity you deserve. We are like family members to our patients as they are to us. We won’t leave you waiting, we’ll really listen to what you have to say, and we’ll treat you like our most valued patient because, well, you are! She listened to all of my symptoms--and there were a few--and gave me time. Very factual about medical info. I wasn't dismissed like some other doctors might do about the issues and it wasn't very rushed. The follow-up appointment will probably help as I had a list of multiple symptoms I needed to bring up. I appreciate the thoroughness she showed and the listening she gave.
