She knows what it feels like when life feels out of control — and she knows what it takes to change it. She started her career as a CNA and phlebotomist, put herself through nursing school, worked as a nurse, and then went further — becoming a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner — because she wanted to be able to help people through the exact things she lived through.
