rd Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and yet she could do nothing for me. What i needed was something that many other virtual clinics are doing for people all over the i United States but she was the only one after a long day of phone calls that took my insurance. I'm appalled!!

I did not respond well to her approach at all unfortunately. While her approach was very straightforward, I personally need a more understanding/emotional/sympathetic approach so that I feel truly cared for and I just did not feel like I got that. I had a panic attack during our session and tried to explain that just being repeatedly told to “just breathe” doesn’t work for me and i did not feel listened to or taken seriously. I’m sure she was trying her best and the hour time limit doesn’t help but yeah just another disappointing experience with traditional healthcare so back to square one I guess. I’m sure other people would have success with her

I saw Dr. Mbua after I had an episode, and someone recommended her. I was not sure and have a hard time talking about my experience to anyone but she is different. I saw her in person, and she was pleasant and greeted me with great energy. She listened to me attentively, asked me relevant questions and gave me time to put my thoughts together.
