A couple years ago I had a dental emergency on a cruise and had to see a dentist at a hospital in the Bahamas. They actually pointed out my crown and complimented Dr. Kim’s work, calling it textbook perfect and a job of skilled professional. If she gets that kind of respect from other doctors, that’s more than enough for me.

So excited Dr. Kim opened an office out here! My friends in the South Bay used to swear by her when she was in Sunnyvale. It basically started with everyone sending their kids to her, but pretty soon the moms and entire families ended up switching over to her. I already knew she was an Ivy League grad and super highly regarded by other dentists, but my visit today completely confirmed it. Just a really smooth, great experience.

The best service I have ever received at a dentist's office: friendly, clear information, comfortable, and efficient. I was seen very quickly, yet I received top-notch service; they took the time to do the work I needed properly. The office is very organized and clean, with a nice view outside.

This brand new clinic has a major "wow" factor when you walk in, but my 5-star review is really for Dr. Kim. I first heard about her years ago when she was practicing in Sunnyvale, but her waitlist for new patients was over 9 months long then. I had an option to see other Dr but wanted to see her. Ultimately gave up and just went to an in-network dentist near me in Fremont for the past three years.
I actually just stumbled across her name on Zocdoc while looking for a dentist for my kid, and realized she just opened her own place in Danville. Apparently, because of a non-compete, she can't reach out to her old patients and is building this practice totally from scratch through word of mouth. Honestly, lucky break for me because I got an appointment right away! Finding her here feels like a total hidden gem. Danville and the East Bay are seriously lucky to have her.

I really appreciated their honest approach—they focused only on what I actually needed and didn't try to push any extra treatments or products on me. I've been driving to Napa to see Dr. Kim for the past five years. I am so glad she opened a new office nearby! The new office is beautiful and gives you entertainment options to go through the hygiene process with ease. You will see the doctor is doing the cleaning herself, not a hygienist, as she'd like to get to know her patients better, although I've been seeing her for years. I still have fillings that another office recommended doing ASAP, but with Dr. Kim, we've been watching them every six months as she wants to avoid unnecessary and aggressive treatment. So far, the cavity has not been growing, and I am happy with the doctor. Dr. Kim is one of the most caring, gentle dentists you'll see.
