Gulf Breeze Speech & Language
Lauren Quail is the only speech-language pathologist within 5 hours of Pensacola (Central time zone) who is certified in the Life Participation Approach to Aphasia (LPAA) and the only speech-language pathologist in the area who has completed training for Lymphedema Management (for Head and Neck Cancer patients). Lauren is one of a few in the area licensed to provide SPEAK OUT! Therapy Program (for Parkinson's Disease patients).
In addition, Lauren Quail treats for the following: DYSPHAGIA (swallowing issues), VOICE (strengthening & vocal hygiene), COGNITIVE REHABILITATION (traumatic brain injury, stroke, and “chemo brain”), DEMENTIA (exercises, environmental modifications, caregiver education), APHASIA (expressive & receptive language), DYSARTHRIA (articulation or clarity)
Please note: Should you book a telemedicine call with us, we are on the central time zone so all confirmations of your appointment will be listed in central time zone.
Additional note: Due to the government shutdown, a continuing resolution for telehealth has not been approved. If you plan to book at virtual visit, Medicare may not reimburse at this time (in person visits are still processed as usual).
